If I read that right I feel a little bit sick.I think we'll seen find out how she's been spending her time. Well, who she's been spending it with...
I'd only worry about it if someone has photosIf I read that right I feel a little bit sick.
Says a lot that no-ones bothered to photo-of her in her summer holes cozi. Maybe she’s the dumber version of John Major. If I read that right I feel a little bit sick.

Apparently 24pts up on Sunak in the polls today. She’ll be feeling confident of getting some plush cushions into #10.
Anyone know what interests she has outside of politics?
Anything outrageous? She kills puppies and poor people on Sundays.
Well, against all better judgement watched it (can’t stand C4 news, there is no gap between reporting and editorial) and if that’s the worst that they can throw at him he’ll lose on popularity v Truss rather than being rich. Nothing new that I was aware of. He’s incredibly rich and privileged. Why the **** he feels the need to be in politics, let alone PM, is beyond me. Oh yeah, vaulting ego.You must log in or register to see media
It's all kicking off.
Hearing that Sunak's team are going to respond in kind.
Anything outrageous?
Took the opportunity to look through Truss’ Wikipedia profile too. What a shocking read that is. She sounds like an awful PM in the making. Bluffing her way through ministerial post after ministerial post. Her lack of attention to detail and knowledge is very scary. God help us from these career politicians.Well, against all better judgement (can’t stand C4 news, there is no gap between reporting and editorial) and if that’s the worst that they can throw at him he’ll lose on popularity v Truss rather than being rich. “The British are among the worst idlers in the world. We work among the lowest hours, we retire early and our productivity is poor. Whereas Indian children aspire to be doctors or businessmen, the British are more interested in football and pop music.”
That’s what Truss, Kwarteng, Patel and Raab, plus some more obscure MP called Skidmore wrote in 2012 whilst backbenchers in their magnum opus “Britannia Unchained” and epic of deregulation, removal of employment rights, and ultra free market economics. I hope she gets questioned on her opinion of the electorate.
Just like I hope someone questions Starmer on exactly what he stands for.
Well, the wireless listener and root and branch Tory membership should be voting for Reform U.K. then, as it stands for all the things you highlight.I heard a listener on the wireless the other evening say that the problem is that the root & branch Tory membership don't actually realise that their MPs are not themselves conservatives. I think this is pretty accurate. The MPs have done a pretty good job of whittling the field down to the two neo-liberals most likely to maintain the centre ground status quo (probably more down, down deeper on down than margarita time) than do anything properly conservative. I suspect any leadership candidate campaigning on a platform of small government, more bobbies on the beat, tougher sentencing for crims, giving the kids some proper learning etc. wouldn't get anywhere near a final two. I can't imagine why anybody would want to be a member of any political party these days.

I don’t really see how neo-liberals are not conservatives though. It’s a long economic tradition and formed the philosophical foundations, such as they were, of the Thatcher/Joseph approach. Not personally a fan, but that’s not the point.
I had a look at their website. Seemed very true blue Tory to me. Think they will be red in tooth and claw free market neo-libs on economics though.Yeah, I quite like Richard Tice (although this’ll be a cue for others to post some dirt about him).

I got the website thing. No idea what a true blue Tory is. Then something about expensive lobsters.I have no idea what you've just said, but I agree.
