There'd be mince pies waiting for them.

Commercially, it makes sense for GBNews to do this, since LBC and BBC 5 live are heavily left wing orientated, which is fine, so long as there are alternatives for those that don't want to listen to O'Brien and Naga Anti-Brit.

Their minds will be blown when they find out TalkRadio is a thing.

Only someone as far to the right as you could suggest that LBC and BBC were heavily left wing orientated. I'll give you James O'Brien (who is excellent, but certainly on the left), but LBC has other presenters who provide balance to him. Farage had his own show on LBC for ****'s sake.

The BBC, including R5, is scrupulously balanced. O'Brien himself cites the time he was on Newsnight and was doing a piece on the potential impacts of Britain resorting to trading on World Trade Organisation terms post-Brexit. They had secured Pascal Lammy (who had been Director-General of the WTO, so was an expert on the subject) but O'Brien had to give equal weight to the opposing views of Andrea Leadsom, who knows very little about anything.

I have no idea who that is and he doesn’t sound like a real person. I only listen to Talksport and Radio 1xtra anyway as I’m not nearly dead.

Currently reading a James O’Brien book though.

I've read O'Briens first book, which was very good, and hoping to get the second one as a Christmas present.

I'll pass the first one on to Goldie.

The Beeb is always good for a bit of balance.

On one side of the argument we have a bloke with a PHD in economics who has worked for the Bank of England for 30 years and written several books on international trade. Also giving his view on this issue is the bloke who runs Wetherspoons.
