Commercially, it makes sense for GBNews to do this, since LBC and BBC 5 live are heavily left wing orientated, which is fine, so long as there are alternatives for those that don't want to listen to O'Brien and Naga Anti-Brit.

I don’t listen to LBC anymore. It became to ‘moan moan moan’ especially that fool O’Brien. GBNews has sorted many of its problems and now it’s slicker. They are getting in Holmes and there is talk of another big name while BBC stick with Naga and Sky, Burley.
I have been watching the money show with Liam Halligan and his guests are second to none. Knocks the socks off both BBC/SKY.

The BBC, including R5, is scrupulously balanced. O'Brien himself cites the time he was on Newsnight and was doing a piece on the potential impacts of Britain resorting to trading on World Trade Organisation terms post-Brexit. They had secured Pascal Lammy (who had been Director-General of the WTO, so was an expert on the subject) but O'Brien had to give equal weight to the opposing views of Andrea Leadsom, who knows very little about anything.

Farage HAD his own show but LBC got rid of him on their move left. O'Brien, Fogarty and Mair are Remainer Left. They occupy the 9.00 am until 6.00 pm . In other words, the whole ****ing day.

The BBC is known to be Remainer, Woke Left. Anyone who is not, is marginalised within the corporation. Reports from those that have left, like Simon McCoy, confirm this.

Halligan is excellent, and so is Gloria del Piero who of course was a Labour MP, which gives good balance.

I was out with a few industry chums last night for a Christmas drink. As soon as BBC was mentioned, it was “don’t mention those ####’s” the stuff they were telling me was quit eye opening.
I won’t go into details but Ithink you can guess what they said.

Did anyone see the new reporter on sky with the pierced nose? after Boris had his lockdown speech they went to her…
She said “ D’ Prime Minister Boris Johnson is at No 10”. Not ‘The Prime minister’ but ‘D’ prime minister. It was like listening to Clinton Morrison. We don’t need our kids hearing ‘D’Prime Minister’ in it.

That's Justin Urquart Stewart, and I was at college with him. He was the year below me at Southampton Uni in the 70's. Huge character, he had been Africa in a year off and been shot in the foot during an uprising! He's good on the financial stuff. I also rated David Buick on the early morning programme but he's been "retired" by GBNews. Great shame.
