The Etonian club? Plenty of tories that didn't go to Eton and there are plenty of privilidge Labour MP's.
That's an old argument that doesn't wash now. As I said politics has moved on. Boris is still massively popular amongst the Tory voters... no matter how hard the left try to say otherwise.
I think you misunderstood my ol mucker, i never said about just Tories going to Eton. It was a generalization of the 'private school politician', regardless of party. So its not about an argument washing or not washing. The average bloke on the street probably relates better to Angela Raynor than they do some toff nosed **** who hasnt lived a second in their world.

I wonder whether you're right about Raynor. Evidence I've seen suggests the electorate don't like crude street talk in Parliament, and would prefer politicians to work together and not sling **** at each other

Speak for yourself fella. I wouldn't want someone representing my country who refers to the opposition as 'scum'. There is a certain etiquet in politics and sadly many in the Labour party don't get it.
As for the 'average bloke' comments... I'm pretty sure there are not many 'average blokes' in the same circles as Starmer and his North London mates. Good try

Of course they don't . Bob is talking rubbish. He is very quick to condemn Boris and the Tories in previous posts but calling people 'scum' seems to be the language of the 'average bloke'. sorry don't buy that.

Raynor will have her supporters, probably all drawn from the part of the electorate that voted for Corbyn - so not a large part then

They are scum though. I don’t get why the words of Rayner are such a big deal when the people actually in charge over and over again get away with incompetence and/or pure corruption.

Starmer comes from relatively humble beginnings. That he’s been so successful without a silver spoon in his mouth is a credit to him.

I don't recall Tory MP's threatening to throw acid in someones face, threaten children or blackmail someone and get tagged?
Watford your compass is all over the place.

:1980_boogie_down:
Fact is Labour was hugely rejected at the last election and no matter how some try and convince themselves that Labour are a credible opposition, it just won't wash.
Labour should be miles ahead in the polls yet the huge majority of the people just don't trust or believe they are credible... except 3-4 on here.

If that had been a Tory MP, there'd be apoplexy on here
of course, but it's not Tory, that's okay! Hypocritical by some. I went on Twitter and was reading some of the delusional posts. All the 'Brexit not working' 'Tory out' blah blah blah posts. I said to my mate The tories don't posts as much as some on Twitter... most are working. They keep quiet and when election comes they will be out voting... even if it means laying on transport for the elderly.

Claudia Webbe was punished rather than being allowed to act with total impunity. Welcome to the point.

Tonight at 7 Nigel Farage has an elusive interview with Donald Trump.
Yes on GBNews! Funny for a supposed failing channel it gets the scoop of the year. He will be discussing Ploppy pants Biden and if he is running in 2024. should be a good watch. On that note Biden has recently broken the record for the worst president rating in history. US commentators said today that if there was an election tomorrow the Republicans would walk in (even without Trump)

She had a great reference from Abbott and Butler who said she was of good character.
welcome to reality.

If you’re really, honestly equating the conduct of politicians on both sides then there’s really no point. We agree Labour are highly unlikely to get voted in. More fool the utter mugs of this country voting for more of what they’re being served.

Social media is used hugely by the Left. They speak to each other and believe they are speaking to the country but they're not.

There are independent processes in Parliament to deal with MP's abuses. Members of the Opposition are welcome to report whomever in government they like. If their complaint is rejected, move on, don't whinge.

Maybe Ch 4 can get an interview with Biden - unlikely though, since Biden doesn't "do" the UK.

It actually is the language of the normal bloke in my world mate. If someone behaves like scum then they are scum. Johnson is a lying piece of scum, thats the truth.

I'm just glad he isn't ‘one of our own’. The bloke falls asleep, craps himself in front of the Pope. Breaks wind next to Royals, doesn't know what day it is and would like those young girls to dance in front of him when they are older. :emoticon-0104-surpr

We should probably get our own house in order before criticising the bloke who beat yer man.
