maybe the age to vote should be raised not lowered then

The Scottish Nationalists lowered the age in preparation for a second referendum on independence. The brain hasn't developed, so these kids are more likely to vote "yes".

Any EU national for any length of time gets a vote in the ref, but Scots that are living and/or working in the rest of the UK have no vote. [HASHTAG]#sturgeongerrymandering[/HASHTAG]

Funny just 6 days after I was lambasted after my comments on how the BBC operate, I then read this today and see the BBC are getting slated.

BBC bans white people from applying for Springwatch & One Show job

The Beeb said the position for the one-year fixed-term contract role is "only open to black, Asian and ethnically diverse candidates".

I think a few people need to wise up.

Less than 48 hours ago John Bercow was vocally adamant he wasn’t after a peerage from the Labour Party. Apart it seems from begging for it and filling out the nomination forms on behalf of the party chairman.https://order-order.com/2021/06/20/john-bercow-insists-he-didnt-join-labour-for-a-pee-bercow-insists-he-didnt-join-labour-for-a-peerage/…

That is where the problem is. Open it up to all applicants and give the job to the best person. If people at the top need to put adverts out like this, it’s them that have and cause the problems.
