Eer the news was about the U.K. being falsely accused. If you don’t want to debate that then go on the Government bitch thread with all the ‘usual suspects’? Quite simple.

It’s not really fact though. It’s Dominic Raab, who didn’t realise the Channel was quite important for trade.

Bit weird that the other day you were moaning about them being interviewed and are now moaning about them hypothetically not being interviewed by that blob.
Eer might have something to do with the fact that the damage has now been done and we have only heard one side of the argument.
They love the press so why not take up Andrew Neil’s offer?

On a personal level, AN was very friendly and courteous when I met him while at BA. I really liked him then, and as an interviewer now....he doesn’t seem to give any side an easy ride, Left or Right.
Why don’t you like him Bracknell ?

Because he’d spend two hours staring at her tits? What right does Andrew Neil have to interview anyone?

once again you are trying to change the subject. If you can't stick to the argument go back to the 'in crowd' thread. Im sure you will find a few that agree with your nonsense there. you can all 'self indulge' each other. :emoticon-0148-yes:

It’s not about him, although it’s weird how he’s held up as some sort of gammon champion.

I doubt it was the intention of the interview but the response from vast swathes of our media and population has totally outed what an insular, weird little place this is. This desperation to get a ‘gotcha’ on them is so odd.

I’m discussing the nonsense slant you chose to put on the topic. So far the only person to bother to respond.

I think the only reason you are interjecting into this thread with your rubbish is because no one is listening to you on the other. Mate I told you before, you are not in the 'love in' crew.

I’ll call out gammon nonsense as and when I can be bothered. It’s not like there’s a lack of it.

So was it more than you just blindly accepting the opinion of proven ****ing moron Raab then?
Other than the Raab response. What the 2222 has it got to do with this latest stunt by the EU? Bye the way, they are being slated yet again for their incompetence.
You be a good little Eurofan and keep supporting idiots while I will support decency. :emoticon-0148-yes:

But you seem to against AN himself....did I get that wrong ? Sorry if I did. I just see him as probably one of the best, if not the best Interviewers this country has got....he definitely isn’t on my side of the political spectrum, however I feel it’s pretty fair across the board and doesn’t give any one side an easy ride.
Again your use of the word “Gammon” doesn’t become you and plays into their hands.....rather divisive I feel, and was discussed at the WPB this week....some saying it’s another way for the liberal media to set working people against each other. Interesting (to me anyway)

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree he gives it to both sides equally.

I’m not one bit arsed if it becomes me. The term encapsulates a mindset that has poisoned this country for decades only now it’s being revealed to the world more clearly.

Im no expert, far from it, but I do have an interest in “True Crime” and have read many stories of cases, both famous and not so famous.
One thing I will say is that cases of someone being snatched off the street and murdered by a complete stranger is very rare and in most cases there is a link between the victim and the murderer. Of course that’s not to say this isn’t the case here, but if it was, that for me would make it even more shocking.
My theory is, and I was talking to a German lad I was crewed up with last week about the same, (when talking of well educated people of his nation committing atrocities during the Nazi regime) that we are ALL capable of murder and horrible things....it’s in us and circumstances dictate that we never, hopefully, have the opportunity to do anything....but it’s still within our capability.
I’ve always found it an interesting subject

Yes, stranger murders are rare. Mostly it's the domestic partner. What makes me feel it might be here, is the involvement of the other woman. They could have been looking for a sexual victim. Add to that the fact that the poor woman missing appears to be a regular person with no sordid or difficult past... We'll see...

This is just my opinion, and means **** all to be honest but I’ll say it anyway. I feel you become part of the problem and part of the “divisiveness’ that is much of the problem, between keeping the status quo and the powers that be (Tory/Labour) in charge....or helping to bring about change and unity in the working class (which you have previously said you’re not one off)
Words like that are just as unacceptable, in my opinion, as words like “coconut” or “choc ice” (both of which my Mrs has been called ‘cos she talks “posh” and not like a black person should)......all insults against someone’s colour and way of acting/talking.
Not looking to have a pop at you....just rambling my opinions until I pick the kids up from school.

I think it’s more likely that she found out what was going on and tried to cover up for him.....a bit like Huntleys bird. Didn’t she get done for the same thing ?
