On a personal level, AN was very friendly and courteous when I met him while at BA. I really liked him then, and as an interviewer now....he doesn’t seem to give any side an easy ride, Left or Right.

Yes, stranger murders are rare. Mostly it's the domestic partner. What makes me feel it might be here, is the involvement of the other woman. They could have been looking for a sexual victim.
