It’s not about him, although it’s weird how he’s held up as some sort of gammon champion. I doubt it was the intention of the interview but the response from vast swathes of our media and population has totally outed what an insular, weird little place this is. Yes, stranger murders are rare. Mostly it's the domestic partner. What makes me feel it might be here, is the involvement of the other woman. They could have been looking for a sexual victim. Add to that the fact that the poor woman missing appears to be a regular person with no sordid or difficult past... We'll see...
