Fishing represents 0.1% of the UK economy, with 10,000 people employed.

That's actually more than I had expected, but still tiny.
 
And some people on here don't accept that it's the intransigence from the EU that is leading to a no deal.

There are none so blind.....

Would you sacrifice 0.1% of the economy (or part thereof) for the sake of securing a deal that benefits the other 99.9%?

It matters to a nation regaining its independence that it is not bludgeoned into giving up what it promised voters in the Brexit vote. Besides, this government should not bind subsequent governments in perpetuity

How many Leave voters were bothered about fishing? It's a tiny issue for ****'s sake.
