My take on it is that it’s appalling for Cummings to think he is above the rules and make what on the surface is such an excessive journey to have his kids looked after....wasn’t there anyone closer ? Or is he just taking us the public as idiots and thinks he’s better than us.
However what I find equally as appalling, is the personal attacks on the fella in the street. Might of been put before, but there’s a video going around of some of his neighbours shouting abuse at him from their windows. ****ing middle class ****s from their multi million pound houses.....would melt if someone went up to them and told them to **** off to their faces.

More Leavers believe he should be sacked than shouldn’t. He’s pissed all over the normal people who have had to make gut-wrenching sacrifices over the last few months to protect his man. Obviously you’ll back him regardless but don’t pretend this is a tiny issue only relevant to a small number of people.
Watford you don’t have kids and probably don’t understand the bond. Now the news is reporting that his son has autism it changes things a bit. It’s okay you shouting from the sidelines with your radical views but people will understand why he did this. I’m not saying it was right but As a father I can understand.
Let’s debate this in January and it won’t even be mentioned. You are making out that this is worse than the pandemic. You need to wait until all the full facts come out.

Yes. Of course we would if they were as high profile as this bloke. Other parents have had to comply with the rules under worse circumstances. It makes it considerably worse that he was part of creating the very rules he flouted.

You state he flouted rules but this has not been proved. Official guidance published in March says "it is very important that individuals with symptoms that may be due to coronavirus and their household members stay at home". This still applies.
The guidance outlines ways to pass the time and obtain food and medicine.
However, it does acknowledge that it is not always straightforward when children are involved.
It says: "If you have children, keep following this advice to the best of your ability, however, we are aware that not all these measures will be possible."
You ignore the arguments in a desperate attempt to smear the Tories. It makes your post valueless
