If other parents with autistic children had done what Cummings did, would we all be lining up to condemn them? I think not.

Cummings has made a lot of enemies and this is their chance to damage him, regardless of the merits of the current argument

He is talking rubbish. Watford reminds me of Rik from The Young Ones. His comments on his son are ill judged and quite embarrassing. Goldie we all know what is happening here. They have been out to get Cummings for a long time. As I have pointed out all the caring of PPE/death/NHS is out of the window and it’s all about Cummings. Even if he had quit it wouldn’t be the end of the story. He should have resigned and got another job.

Nope the general public seen **** loads of comments on places like the local newspaper comments section from usually adamant Tory/Boris supporters saying this is too much. I was a little taken back I thought these people would support them no matter what, think the Torys will underestimate the fall out from this.

You state he flouted rules but this has not been proved. Official guidance published in March says "it is very important that individuals with symptoms that may be due to coronavirus and their household members stay at home". This still applies.

The guidance outlines ways to pass the time and obtain food and medicine.

However, it does acknowledge that it is not always straightforward when children are involved.

It says: "If you have children, keep following this advice to the best of your ability, however, we are aware that not all these measures will be possible."

You ignore the arguments in a desperate attempt to smear the Tories. It makes your post valueless

There’s no argument. Essentially you’re saying everyone who was in a worse situation could have done their own thing but weren’t bright enough to realise that.

He was asymptomatic at the time or at least well enough to drive the lot of them 260 miles north (why was she not left behind with full-blown Corona, another issue?). They have family within a few miles. They have access to all the same routes for food delivery you and I do with the added bonus of being the ****ing Prime Minister’s chief advisor which might mean someone could have popped round a loaf of bread and some milk easily enough.

Fine if you want to find excuses for them but you’ll look like a stupid and disrespectful **** for doing so.

The government says that those with no one to help with getting food, prescriptions or other essentials, could get support from NHS volunteers, or should contact their local council.

Because it’s not a left v right or Remain v Leave issue as much as the likes of Tom Harwood and Ellers would like it to be to simplify the debate and justify their side. People have been forced to go through a really tough time for a common good and they’ve been pissed on.

I think you just want them to be pi22ed off. When it comes to votes you won’t get us Tories voting for Labour. Also from the 2-3 people I have spoken to they don’t seemed to worried.
