Thanks for putting this up, Raving. It's a quite brilliant speech by Frost and anyone who wants to understand the rationale behind the Brexit vote should read it. It's the best piece of writing to encapsulate how Brexit came about, how the UK goes forward and the implications for the EU re its current members if it fails to adapt in post-Brexit Europe

I understand full well the rationale behind the Brexit vote, Goldie. It was about immigration, and the government had said as much today when announcing its plans for reducing it.

Scale of immigration and control over it was a large part. But there was a lot more. Have you read the speech, Strolls?

The point of the tweet isn’t about Dave or what he’s saying, it’s the lack of accountability from other sources.

Hard to say that MP's aren't accountable at his stage, they've only just been voted in. Cummings, yes. He is to Boris, what Campbell was to Blair. It seems to happen when government has a huge majority

Boris’s stupid vanity project of the bridge which is one of the stupidest ideas in human history hasn’t got the criticism and pure ridicule it deserves, that’s just an example

Especially with all the explosives dumped at the bottom of the sea there. Mind you his Garden Bridge was just as stupid...

I presume they must be able to locate the munitions dump with some form of underwater metal detection. The length of bridge isn't the problem, far longer have been built. But the depth and currents might prove difficult. I'm interested to hear, because it would be amazing if they pulled it off. They said the Channel Tunnel was a pipedream once

Just heard about Dave at the Brits, he’ll have certain people absolutely raging. Good work fella.

Is there any substance to the story that his brother, to whom I understand he dedicated his prize, stabbed a 15yo black school kid to death?

This is what I've found out:

His older brother, Chris, is in prison for life for killing a 15 year old.

Ben, his other brother, was jailed for his part in a Loyds TSB multi-million fraud.

Nice family

He must be a hell of a bloke to have fought against the odds to get to where he is.

If we were all judged by our brother’s actions it would be unfortunate for our next king.
