Shoes on the other foot now! They will get through everything they want. All those muppets laughing when he was losing those votes/bills. It will be very quiet on the other benches now.Do you remember all the Remainers gloating at all the votes Johnson lost in Parliament?

Let's see how cocky Benn, Cooper and Grieve are now... oh I forgot, Grieve won't be there.Yep. They thought they were so clever didn't they?
Sky are doing the same. The presenter has just said "Cummings looking as scruffy and disheveled as usual"Poor old BBC. Their presenters have been talking through gritted teeth all day. None more so than the enbittered Emily Maitlis, who has done her best to rubbish Boris all day.
Quite pathetic.
It certainly is. The choice for England was between Brexit or a United Kingdom. The colour of the political map alone shows that that there no longer is a united kingdom.Seismic result in Northern Ireland where Nationalist parties (9 MP's - up from 7 in the previous election) have more MP's than Unionist parties for the first time ever. The DUP got a kicking (down from 10 MP's to 8) for ignoring the will of the people when it came to Brexit. Thanks to Brexit, Nationlism has risen in both Scotland and Northern Ireland. A United Ireland is a lot closer this morning.

Trouble is that it's difficult to put it back in the box. Former Yugoslavia which the West was happy to dismember in the interests of self-determination set a precedent which the UK, Spain and all other European countries will have to live with particularly when so much of this election and the last three years has been a heated debate about honouring the results of a democratic vote.I like the union, but if the people of Scotland and Wales want to go it alone, good luck to them.
As for Ireland, if the majority want a united Ireland, again good luck to them.
Excellent speech by Boris outside No10.
However, the Tories MUST deliver on his promises.
Oh ****, looks like Lammy is about to appear with Maitlis. Time to switch off!!
Bloody hell Col! why didn't you warn me earlier! I just turned over and saw Lammy!
FPTP is not fit for purpose that much is startlingly clear. Not sure how anyone can say it's justifiable now. So many voices not represented because of our hoary old electoral system. The likes of the SNP crowing like mad now but it's madness how 45% Of the vote can get you 80% Of the seats. Interesting to note that parties supporting remain or a referendum with a remain option got 51% of the popular vote which suggests it's not as black and white (or blue) as all that. I do wonder what impact Farage standing down his 317 candidates had, significant I would say and it's a shame that, that sort of mass manipulation of the system is allowed but that's what fptp enables.

what utter rubbish Frome. Funnily someone said the same to Nick Farrari on LBC and he put them in their place. The majority want Brexit sorted and it will be sorted. Get over it and accept a democratic vote.FFFF is he still alive? I thought I wrote a post on the RIP thread for him? Jezza probably dug him up and plugged him in.**** me, the BBC have now wheeled out that old Commie Ken Loach.
Time for a G&T. Must be 6pm somewhere!!
