I see you've joined most of us already in cloud cuckoo land waiting for principle and integrity to be commonplace among our politiciansJust got in to see the news. Quick reflection is that these 7 (is it 7 still?) Have done the honorable thing. If they cant/dont agree with what their party stands for or is attempting to do/not to do then, yes they should quit. I can see short term this being a problem but not so much long term. If only all mps stood by their principles.
Doubt you'll get any honest answers. Did anybody admit to supporting UKIP previously?Anyone signed up for Farages new Brexit party from here?
This would be great news. Get rid of her and replace with a decent MP.George AylettVerified account@GeorgeAylett 2h2 hours ago
Looks like Anna Soubry has removed all references of the Conservative Party from her social media profiles. So maybe it's looking like there could be defections from the Parliamentary Conservative Party, to 'The Independent Group', too... not just a #LabourSplit.pic.twitter.com/WVflJCXGe3

Weathers nice thoughI see you've joined most of us already in cloud cuckoo land waiting for principle and integrity to be commonplace among our politicians

Sky has surpassed itself this morning. We hear the sad news of Honda and the job losses. But rather than discuss Honda/Jobs/Future of workforce. They interview a 'remoaner' who blames Brexit.
The silly ginger girl on Sky asked "I know what the company has said but there must be some link to Brexit"?
Even after the statement from the company:
Honda said the move was due to global changes in the car industry and the need to launch electric vehicles, and it had nothing to do with Brexit.
and the local MP and spokesperson saying it had nothing to do with Brexit.
The more I hear crap like this, the more I know that it's all 'project fear'.
What's sad is that none of them are interested in the workers. They just want some Brexit news. Muppets
The Honda spokesman today could not have been clearer. Brexit was not a factor. The factors were:
1. Move from diesel
2. Move to electric as you say, Ellers
3. The fact that for Honda, the largest markets by a very large margin, are Japan, China and US
4. The recently signed EU/Japan Trade Deal that means that Honda can manufacture in Japan and export into the EU on zero tariffs.
There are seismic changes in the car industry taking place worldwide (just ask recession-threatened Germany). None of these have anything to do with Brexit. Notwithstanding this, total assholes like Adonis and Campbell keep insisting a "People's Vote" will solve all problems. They are sad, sad figures, and they are the only people that can't see it.
Well number 4 means that Brexit definitely was a factor then.
No, they no longer need to be within the EU to sell without tariffs. So they've gone back to manufacturing in Japan, which is closer to their major markets.
No, the point is that they will no longer be able to sell to the EU without tariffs from the UK.
Well number 4 means that Brexit definitely was a factor then.
So why didn't they move to France?
Because, if they are going to move, it makes more sense to move production to Japan. They point is, would they have moved if we weren't leaving the EU? You're being deliberately obtuse, Goldie.
