Yes, and compromising on a Customs Union would be respecting the referendum result too, so I guess Corbyn is right as well.

Anyway, back to the point, what is the new backstop?
Bloody hell Stroller I am trying to watch QT?

Okay I believe that the list below were the things mentioned.
  • a "trusted trader" scheme to avoid physical checks on goods flowing through the border
  • "mutual recognition" of rules with the EU
  • "technological" solutions
From my understanding a few weeks back they wanted to keep some hybrid backstop until they got the technology in place.
However as I said earlier Lisa Nandy said the EU are not interested in it.

A CU and SM were not part of leaving Stroller. We were told that we were leaving them. You are not dragging this old crap up again.

Don't keep bringing me into it. I voted like 17.4M to leave the EU. for me and leavers, leave meant leave. Sadly May has not negotiated properly and the EU are the EU. What hasn't helped are deceitful MP's that won't accept the result and are trying their best to derail Brexit. This is not in the best interests of the country.
Take mad Anna her constituancy voted to leave, like Ken Clark's and they won't respect the wishes of the people they represent. What is worse is these MP's have undermine May's negotiation hand and still want to take no deal off the table, which if successful, will give the EU the upper hand against our country. So yes, they are being treacherous.
Ken Clarke's constituency actually voted to remain 57.6% to 42.4%.

Helps to use the edit button and not the reply button - proof that one remain voter definitely is a bloody moron :-)

oops you are right.
I trusted this paper for ages and I have mentioned Clarke before and no one has said I was wrong.
This is what it says under the picture:
L-R: Lisa Nandy (Labour), Ken Clarke (Conservative), Amber Rudd. They all support the Remain campaign but their constituents voted to leave. Photos: Getty.

It's very strange - I've seen both said about him. You'd think they could get that right <laugh>

Just getting back to Sb and bob's mocking of my comments re Mad Anna and Clark? JRM just answered the question. it was in the Tory manifesto that the result would be respected. So I guess my comments were correct after all.
Ah it was in the Tory manifesto. Those bloody Tories hey, never can trust them to respect peoples wishes

I was under the impression that the Tories and DUP were in government. If they could all agree then they would have the numbers to pass a deal through parliment regardless of Corbyn or labour's manifesto. I will stand corrected ifim wrong.

fFS you have defended May as one of your mates since day one and pour your blame out towards any person or people whenever you can
You are a May supporter clear as day
Your blame culture is laughable as is your self obsessed stance towards the EU

I like 16m others could and still see that this will damage the economy of the country

Still being the apt word as your 17m figure is correct yet today it’s worth less each day

So you are left in a current minority imo self obsessed with your blame culture and have clearly backed a bunch of twats.

I would imagine that feels a little bit crap .

Your justification at times is ridiculous but really funny so carry on . You have zero idea nor experience of how Europeans look at the U.K.

Look at it ? The very cause of your frustration is yourself .

I wish you would stop saying no deal as the correct language is WTO. Cliff-edge and catastrophic are just as ill informed. The free trade deal is part of the 'Malthouse compromise" so you backstop worry goes out of the window.

People who ignore the damage that a no deal will cause aren’t human imo and reflect i’m Alright jacks and that comes from me who has a out anyway so I get it and am guilty of course.

Self destructive ideas if supported will make the rich richer after all of this.

Again anyone on here give us a constructive post Brexit plan in the event of a no deal ?

Idiots
