As I’ve said before on here, if you think a disastrous mistake has been made, even with the backing of a majority in a referendum, the most patriotic thing you can do is fight it. Clarke and Soubry are doing what they believe is their duty. They might be mistaken, they certainly know it puts their future as MPs at risk (hopefully Mogg and Redwood are in the same boat given that they have sold out their constituents according to your interpretation of our system), they clearly have immense courage in their convictions (how easy would it have been to roll over and say nothing?) and their right to do what they are doing must be respected.
You are supposed to be in Dallas? As far as I am concerned you must respect the result. are you saying different? All JRM and Redwood are doing is respecting the result of the referendum. Redwood says that all the time. If the people here don't like that, then they can vote out at the next election. However Mad Anna and Clark are not only not respecting the result they are not respecting their constituents as well. They will both be gone at the next election so I guess they don't care now. Saying that if May betrays the result I see a lot of tories losing seats.
