And Burnham is a classic example of a politician blowing in the wind to get what he wants rather than what the country needs
From my point of view, what the country needs is somebody to stop the far right. If, as seems probable, Burnham is the man best placed to do that, he gets my vote. What the Labour party needs to do is to confront Farage with the disaster of Brexit and commit to returning to the EU in some form. That would also be what the country needs and would win the next election.
