I listened to a really interesting radio program last regarding a no deal brexit and most of the people were saying it would hurt the EU more especially if we don’t give them the money.
After listening to Elmer comments I am actually more adamant of leaving. Remainers need to wise up and see these people for what they are?

Wise Up that from a person that has put faith into the UK government. The best you lot can do is call people bullies? That is the state of the nation
A bully moan
It’s not fair blah blah

It’s this simple and not rocket science

We are currently in a phase of playing chicken in the disgraceful media you lot seem to be swallowing that’s all it is

Wise Up? You have been totally brainwashed along with wearing British Blinkers

Wise Up they are all political people on both sides

It will become more evident each day now with exchanges of bollock facts

The realism is that the already useless UK systems and political climate cannot even handle a theoretical future never mind any tasks at hand

Wise Up a no deal will not be allowed to happen

Letting yourself believe that it maybe great is plain stupidity I concede that we all need to be taken on a story that educates the real pitfalls ... the same pitfalls most remainers got two years ago!

Anyone who honestly stands by a No Deal must be exposed and held accountable imo

Public opinion is fickle it will swing

It’s been designed to do exactly that imo
Hopefully when complete the nation will be a lot better informed and a lot more unified... only then will you see the final act imo

That's wrong for a start. The £30K skilled worker thing doesn't incorporate Nurses /Doctors and other types of workers.
If you are going to post this at least be honest with the facts.
There will be a consultation on the £30k cap covering ALL classes of skilled worker seeking a 5 year working visa. At present the cap covers non EU migrant workers, with some exceptions for the NHS, but not EU ones. This is why the NHS Providers CEO was on the radio this morning explaining why she was so worried, while pointing out that low paid does not equal low skilled. But as she is an expert we can probably assume that you are right.

In practice of course there will be a ‘bye’ for nurses and social care workers, because the system would collapse without them. And anyway, the British Government is too **** to implement any immigration rules it makes up.

By the way, do you support the anti migration protesters in Brussels from the other day, not support them, or do you have no opinion?

What a beauty can’t see the sheep coming back on that Game over

Is this a back track?
You must be Nostradamus Sb as Javid hasn’t even spoken yet? Let's wait until he speaks.
But regarding your project fear post about the £30K and Nurses is wrong.

Jezza is in the 2222. When I was watching PMQ’s and the camera went on him I thought he referred to May as a ‘Stupid person’. They are saying "stupid Woman".. however it's just come in that he says he said "stupid people". It sort of looks like that.

Now forget about what we say about politicians, in the House you have to treat all members with dignity. It was obvious from that comment how he is prepared to refer to women… We now need to ask ourselves what he really thinks of Jews?

I heard him dodge the question on the Today Programme this morning. He was definitely speaking then, unless there was a clone. For the avoidance of confusion, my posts have been about the new immigration white paper, the one that is a year late, not about the current arrangements.

While you are here do you support the anti migration protesters in Brussels from the other day, not support them, or do you have no opinion?

How do you know stupid people weren't referring to the tories

So okay you are back tracking. :emoticon-0148-yes: I only caught a little bit of the Javid speech so I am not 100% but I thought the £30k didn’t include certain areas ( nurses).
I will say however I am happy that they are implementing the casual labour visa for fruit pickers and so on, that excludes rights for other family members not living in this country. This was always a problem when tax payers here have to pay for people that don’t live here or have never lived here.
So far from what I have heard it seems a fair paper but will need to read the full text.

Bob I would go further and allowing MP’s to say ‘you are talking 2222, or b222222’s’ but there are rules in the House that Jezza has broken. Tbh I am no Jezza fan. However I thought he did say ‘stupid people’ but others don’t and will want to crucify him for it.

Maybe he was talking about Abbott who he knew was going to be talking later?

I just watched it, and it certainly looked like he said 'stupid woman'. So what? This whole government was held in contempt of Parliament for ****'s sake!

What he thinks of the country Israel and what he thinks Jewish people are two different things imo

Here is what Javid said in the Commons [my comments]

Skilled workers

He announces a new route for skilled workers, with no cap on numbers and no requirement for high skilled workers to take a resident labour market test. There will be a minimum salary threshold. [no cap on numbers! Current alleged quota is 20,000 people a year, now it can be infinite! £30k is the minimum salary to be discussed]

Seasonal workers

There will also be a short term workers route for seasonal workers and others, which will be kept under review to so it can be improved where needed. Those who come on this scheme will have no rights to access public funds, settle or bring dependants, and can come to the UK for 12 months at a time.

This provides protection for British workers, whilst recognising that immigration alone cannot be be the solution for businesses, he says, and the government will continue to invest in improving skills in the UK.[but ‘skilled ‘ British workers will have to compete against the rest of the world]

International students

He adds that there will be no limit on the number of international students, and it will be made easier for them to stay. [why do we want them to stay after the universities have taken their money? So they can compete with British graduates?]

'Streamlined' bureaucracy

The approach is "about opening Britain up to business, rather than creating red tape", and includes a "streamlined application" process. They will also make it possible for more people to use e-gates and phase out use of insecure national identity cards.[good luck with that, last two times I’ve been through Heathrow - both in the last 8 weeks - the e gates have been closed]

So what? Bit of a stupid comment Stroller. It was a misogynistic comment.
As I said it’s okay for us to say this (by that I mean not MP’s) but in the ‘House’ that is breaking the rules.
I remember Cameron once said, “calm down dears” and was castigated for it. This is much worse.
It’s not very statesmanship like is it? But then again we are talking Jezza. <laugh>

Much worse? Is 'stupid woman' really to be considered misogynistic? Would stupid humanoid have been better? What a load of bollocks.

Still, I suppose it really is much worse than the whole government holding Parliament in contempt, though. Corbyn must apologise immediately, whilst May and her Tory shower run roughshod over the sovereignty of Parliament. Priceless.

Every so often the 'Cuddly Corbyn' mask slips and reveals the nasty c*nt it hides, he is loathed by the majority of his Parliamentary Party who have to toe the line since the last election otherwise his Momentum Rottweilers are set loose, nice way to run a party, reminds me of somewhere behind the old iron curtain...

Stroller I can agree with you regarding ‘this messing about’ but they still need to speak to each other with a bit of dignity. He is the leader of the opposition speaking about the PM. He treats her no better than those gangsters in Brussels.
As I said I have actually stuck up for comedy Corbyn but he has made a mistake and needs to apologise. He will probably take the same stance he did regarding the jews.

He will never be PM.

He didn't like May's quote referring to the Mp’s behind him that didn’t like or support him.
