There will be a consultation on the £30k cap covering ALL classes of skilled worker seeking a 5 year working visa. At present the cap covers non EU migrant workers, with some exceptions for the NHS, but not EU ones. So okay you are back tracking. I only caught a little bit of the Javid speech so I am not 100% but I thought the £30k didn’t include certain areas ( nurses). I will say however I am happy that they are implementing the casual labour visa for fruit pickers and so on, that excludes rights for other family members not living in this country. This was always a problem when tax payers here have to pay for people that don’t live here or have never lived here. So far from what I have heard it seems a fair paper but will need to read the full text.
