Have you ever been to Ireland and seen the incredible stuff the EU has funded?

Ireland are pro European people and you answer is to follow us out?

Thankfully the Irish are not self obsessed like the Anglo Saxon

I hope I live to see a united Ireland because it’s possible imo. I also hope Wales and Scotland get independence and join the EU

I read this thread just to gauge exactly how silly and naive Brexiteers currently are that isn’t going to stop. Plenty of great posters on here who are on the money each and every time

Let me also make it clear I fully understand why the majority of people in the UK voted for Brexit. The majority of Irish see themselves as European, I do not. I personally think the EU has run its course. I’d love to see Ireland leaving too and joining a new Customs Union with the UK and the US, both of whom our tiny country is dependent upon for trade.
I get Brexit, but have struggled to understand why so many British people thought they could simply bend the rules and fudge the NI border issue. The EU was never going to allow that. The NI issue was always going to be the stumbling block. You can’t have free trade and no hard border here. Its incompatible.

I genuinely believe this agreement was clever. Negotiations and subsequent agreements generally result in both sides having to give a little. The UK was always going to have to give a little. May (or anybody else) could never deliver the perfect Brexit because of the backstop. Surely people can see this. The EU (despite what some on here think) were perfectly in their rights to insist that their rules (which the UK previously adhered to) could and would not be changed. Why all the EU bashing for insisting on this? Were they not entitled to negotiate too?
I genuinely fear a NO deal now.

fair play mate and I agree the Tories have done some crap stuff but I really worry about a Labour government run by Jezza but I will always respect what the majority vote for. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Meanwhile my old mate Sebastian Kurz has once again followed the EU line saying a No deal would hurt Britain more.... The reason they need to keep saying this is because they are s22t scared of losing us? They have also said regarding a released a document (that was overshadowed by the 500 page document) that they are open to more scope to help TM. mmm and I thought they wouldn't budge?
We must not sell out.
