No, the guy is always preaching at the electorate, telling us how spotlessly clean he is, despite the fact that he conveniently "forgot" his deputy leader was at the party. If he's caught out as a fake preacher, he'll be marked down as a hypocrite.
I never said Raab was the Messiah, but he's done ok as deputy, though his casual attitude to Afghanistan was poor. He won't stand in the leadership election, probably for that reason. There's a big enough selection of candidates without him.
