He seems to have been very quiet since the start of the year, as though he is keeping out of the limelight for a reason.
Odd behaviour....
Right onto other aspects of politics and life then

I know he was a 'minister of state' but I don't recall him being in a cabinet?Maybe he could be the MP who ALLEDGEDLY assaulted a woman, Ellers?

I think all circumstances can be extended by this pandemic. Loss of jobs, loss of income yet still the bill's to pay etc. The fact that even one single food bank exists in a country such as ours is frankly shocking.I think we can all agree that no child should ever go hungry at school. But the debate is whether money for their food comes through the Benefit's System or whether the state starts to look after the child rather than the parent.
If a child arrives at school hungry or without lunch or without lunch money, the first people that should be looked at by social services are the parents, who will be receiving benefits and not giving the child the advantage of them. The justifiable reasons for the cause of the problem could be mental health or chronic addiction of the parent(s). It could be ill health generally of the parent. In these cases, the state should step in to help and ensure the child does not suffer, and the issues will probably go way beyond school meals. It may also be that the parents are simply not managing their money well (although in my view, they have a duty to feed their children before outlays for non-essential expenditure), in which case social services should step in to help them get their finances straight.
Parents that do not feed their children and fall outside these categories have a case to answer in my opinion.
