I saw an interview with a mother and 2 kids saying what is she going to do at Christmas... only problem was behind her were the two kids playing on a PS?XBox on a massive flatscreen with a modern iPhone clearly in shot. When I was growing up my parents didn't have much money so we went without all the superficial stuff like modern toys. Always said school dinners should be free but sometimes parents spend unnecessary money on gadgets for the kids.
So what? because that family has that stuff we should just ignore others that are in poverty. What you might want to look at is why the Tory's voted down the bill, think that might be the issue here. Oh and by the way you'll have to post a link as anecdotal doesn't count remember
And Labour in the past... What about old Jezza and his Champagne Commies? Hypocrites. It's like all those anti-capitalist freaks who moan about capitalism while wearing designer trainers?
No it's true I saw it with my own eyes. It's like the food bank argument... so many people abused it. As I said I am all for free meals but we need to be realistic about things. It's not just the Tories eating like kings.
Why do Union Jack twitter accounts get so triggered by Marcus Rashford trying to help vulnerable kids?
Did Corbyn vote down the bill? I thought he was an irrelevance... anyway back to Johnson and co voting down the bill
It's wrong not to feed children in poverty. Anyone who even attempts to argue/defend the Tories over this , is in my book a nasty, vindictive, selfish twat.
Nope the politics were played in the house of commons. I'm saying stop trying to find excuses for this ridiculous decision.
I'm not doing anything of the sort I am just saying that I saw a woman pleading bloody poverty and her TV is better than mine. Get a little perspective here. The bloody TV must have been less than a year old! Maybe she should have thought and putting some money aside for the kids school dinners and buying a cheaper brand?
Anyway while Lewis Hamilton is compelling about this while living in his tax haven earning £10m a race... in other news Brexit: UK and Japan sign £15.2bn free trade agreement in Tokyo https://news.sky.com/story/brexit-uk-and-japan-to-sign-15-2bn-free-trade-agreement-in-tokyo-12111609
eer yes. We don't have to worry about any EU red tape for a start. Even the CBI are being positive! Dame Carolyn Fairbairn, CBI director general, said: "The signing of the UK's first independent trade agreement is a milestone for our economy and will be welcomed by businesses in many sectors. "This deal has the potential to support jobs across the country through lifting British farming exports and supporting our manufacturing and services sectors. Consumers will also benefit through greater choice." However I am sure there will be a few negative voices who want us to fail.
Maybe someone bought it as a present for her, maybe she won it in a competition, maybe a friend gave it to her, maybe she saved and saved and saved to purchase it etc. **** me you are so judgemental, what did you say the other day, let's wait until the facts came in before judging and yet you do the exact opposite. Cmon you can do better
