I have noticed, but he has no more power than other MPs say Mark Francois or Mark Garnier or Stephen Crabb

I hear he voted remotely yesterday...well many do nowadays.
He seems to have been very quiet since the start of the year, as though he is keeping out of the limelight for a reason.
    Odd behaviour....

Right onto other aspects of politics and life then

Funny how when you have nothing to say you accuse people of having a mare? Wills upload_2020-10-23_11-9-52.png Maybe you need to read up on Lewis Hamilton before you trying and knock my post?

Oh that's good I must have a lot to say then because I'm pretty sure I've not accused anyone else of having a mare on here... oh dear oh dear

Don't think I'll bother reading up on Lewis Hamilton, as that would distract from the government, who you support, voting down a bill to support feeding impoverished children, that's the news here

I have read up about Hamilton, well I think I have, well the latest "news".

He has said he is "surprised" at the announcment of an ex-driver Petrov to the stewards role at the Portuguese GP. Petrov has said anti BLM comments.
Hamilton has been very restrained with his comment of being "surprised".

    Have I missed something

I wouldn't know but according to reports of the alleged incident is of man in his 50's (which Francois is) and is an ex cabinet minister (which Francois... oh wait)? I know he was a 'minister of state' but I don't recall him being in a cabinet?

Great to hear of local businesses rallying to Marcus Rashfords cause to help feed poverty stricken children. Despite the pandemic, some are helping out where they can. Shame on this government. They have acted in a disgraceful way and truly dont give a **** about anyone but the rich and elite.

I think we can all agree that no child should ever go hungry at school. But the debate is whether money for their food comes through the Benefit's System or whether the state starts to look after the child rather than the parent.

If a child arrives at school hungry or without lunch or without lunch money, the first people that should be looked at by social services are the parents, who will be receiving benefits and not giving the child the advantage of them. The justifiable reasons for the cause of the problem could be mental health or chronic addiction of the parent(s). It could be ill health generally of the parent. In these cases, the state should step in to help and ensure the child does not suffer, and the issues will probably go way beyond school meals. It may also be that the parents are simply not managing their money well (although in my view, they have a duty to feed their children before outlays for non-essential expenditure), in which case social services should step in to help them get their finances straight.

Parents that do not feed their children and fall outside these categories have a case to answer in my opinion.

I think all circumstances can be extended by this pandemic. Loss of jobs, loss of income yet still the bill's to pay etc. The fact that even one single food bank exists in a country such as ours is frankly shocking.

BREAKING: Mayor Joe Anderson has announced that the council will provide meal vouchers after the government refused.
Forget about the union of the uk, England is getting divided by the governments decisions at present.

Absolutely. There’s a ridiculously high number of people in this country working but never with any savings so any increase in the cost of living is suddenly a huge problem. It’s so lazy and unhelpful to highlight the small number of people who choose to spend their money frivolously at their kids’ welfare’s expense as if that’s the real issue.

I know of a high profile person struggling to get by on a six-figure salary and incredible benefits. He probably shouldn’t have had more kids than he can count but still.
