Well tbh Staines I am keeping this to politics ( I.e Sturgeon). I made it clear on the other thread. I thought Herd community was the way to go and was surprised they changed their minds but I leave that to the scientists. Please mate, I’ve not long been up from my night shift, shattered and kids playing up.
It was asked on here so please either copy and paste it if you can find it or put it up on here.
Just really wondering your opinion in this....maybe a list if successes and failures in the governments part.
Hello Staines! I answered that question on the Coronavirus thread and don’t need to say again. It’s on there just have a look.
Anyway back to Sturgeon...

I must have missed it aswell, unless he said they have made some mistakes yet cant be arsed to elaborate like many others. Please mate, I’ve not long been up from my night shift, shattered and kids playing up.

What are Sturgeons good policies bob? I am interested because I have read an article about her failures? That's rich coming from a man who still hasn't replied to my question
I live in leeds, west yorkshire, england. I'm more concerned with politics and the lies within our own government instead of trying to distract and evade. What are Sturgeons good policies bob? I am interested because I have read an article about her failures?

I cant honestly remember him ever answering a single direct question when challenged. That's why he cant be taken seriously. With respect, Bob asked you what mistakes you thought the government had made...and I couldn’t find an answer to that anywhere.
Agree with you on the original ‘herd immunity’ thing....but as Beth pointed out to me....it very likely would of been a disaster and result in many more deaths and a ‘swamping’ of the system.
Anyway, come on mate, answer the question from Bob....please.
That’s fine mate and I agree ( I do the same). I was just interested on what you said about her good points. The article I have read rips her apart and basically said she has failed on so many fronts. I can’t understand why people think she is any better than our lot, other than turning up on time to a briefing.I live in leeds, west yorkshire, england. I've never brought up Sturgeon anywhere. Think you've got your wires crossed.....yet againThat’s fine mate and I agree ( I do the same). I was just interested on what you said about her good points. It's impossible to debate when one doesnt even give replies to questions.Nah Bob, I’m not gonna go there again..got too nasty and childish (on both sides).
I do find Ellers very frustrating due to his lack of being able to answer any direct question with a direct answer...however, most politicians if all parties do that week in week out.
As long as we keep the debate civil then all good.
God I have just seen the worst Tory on TV asking the most ridiculous question.![]()

Off the top of my head :
Scrapped tuition fees for university students.
Scrapped prescription charges
Increased childcare for pre-school age children
Introduced the smoking ban months before it was bought into force in England
Lowered the threshold for drink-driving limit, therefore reducing the road deaths each year
Introduced minimum pricing for alcohol
Increased the number of police officers
Scrapped all the bridge tolls
Massive reduction in the countries carbon footprint, with new environmental laws
Banned fracking for shale gas
Enabling 16 and 17 year olds to vote in local elections
That should keep you going for a while Ellers.
