Well tbh Staines I am keeping this to politics ( I.e Sturgeon). I made it clear on the other thread. I thought Herd community was the way to go and was surprised they changed their minds but I leave that to the scientists.
I must have missed it aswell, unless he said they have made some mistakes yet cant be arsed to elaborate like many others.
What are Sturgeons good policies bob? I am interested because I have read an article about her failures?
I live in leeds, west yorkshire, england. I'm more concerned with politics and the lies within our own government instead of trying to distract and evade.
With respect, Bob asked you what mistakes you thought the government had made...and I couldn’t find an answer to that anywhere. Agree with you on the original ‘herd immunity’ thing....but as Beth pointed out to me....it very likely would of been a disaster and result in many more deaths and a ‘swamping’ of the system. Anyway, come on mate, answer the question from Bob....please.
I cant honestly remember him ever answering a single direct question when challenged. That's why he cant be taken seriously.
That’s fine mate and I agree ( I do the same). I was just interested on what you said about her good points. The article I have read rips her apart and basically said she has failed on so many fronts. I can’t understand why people think she is any better than our lot, other than turning up on time to a briefing.
Nah Bob, I’m not gonna go there again..got too nasty and childish (on both sides). I do find Ellers very frustrating due to his lack of being able to answer any direct question with a direct answer...however, most politicians if all parties do that week in week out. As long as we keep the debate civil then all good.
Off the top of my head : Scrapped tuition fees for university students. Scrapped prescription charges Increased childcare for pre-school age children Introduced the smoking ban months before it was bought into force in England Lowered the threshold for drink-driving limit, therefore reducing the road deaths each year Introduced minimum pricing for alcohol Increased the number of police officers Scrapped all the bridge tolls Massive reduction in the countries carbon footprint, with new environmental laws Banned fracking for shale gas Enabling 16 and 17 year olds to vote in local elections That should keep you going for a while Ellers.
