Labour ripping themselves apart ahead of their Conference, with Momentum supporters trying to oust Watson and the position of Deputy Leader. Watson then accusses them of a Sectarian attack on the party, ! As if Labour don't have enough issues going, yet another go at shooting off their own feet - what a ****ing joke, they don't know their own arse from their elbow

I said aeons ago that the right thing to have done was to have held a GE with a party campaigning on a platform of leaving the EU. We had that, but they were called UKIP and were unelectable.

Frankly, I wouldn’t have had a problem had the Referendum come out in favour of Remain by one vote, but my preference was to leave the EU.

It was my view that the Referendum was the only opportunity in my lifetime to vote Leave so had to take it.

It doesn’t matter what who knew or didn’t know. Both sides ran campaigns honesty or dishonestly, factual or emotional. Referendums and GE take no account of people’s intelligence or anything else. They just get to put an X somewhere.

Yeah I don’t knock anyone for taking their chance but only one side was accountable for any lies. Think a massive factor was people using it as a protest vote against Cameron too.

Just about everyone seems to accept now that it’s a damage limitation exercise from an economic point of view but a Norway-type relationship feels like both a compromise in a tight and frankly inadequate binary referendum and the least worst option for the people who will suffer. Apart from the tiny percentage of people with a vested interest in crashing the currency further, it’s still mental anyone wants to pursue no deal. It’s a cult mentality.

I can’t agree with that. There are plenty of honest politicians not in this for personal gain or status and probably earning far less than they could in other professions. It helps justify certain lies if people are told everyone is lying.

Dianne Abacus? Yes, she gave up a career as a rocket scientist in favour of getting police numbers right. :)

the clear difference is that in the UK none of them have really grasped that they work for us. Introduce party politics and career ambitions and it’s all over generally

The Lisbon 2020 treaty finalises in , surprise surprise 2020 it was signed in 2008 by Labour under Gordon Brown, why do you think the Irish rejected it in their referendum on it and were forced to vote again, because the corrupt anti democratic EU weren’t happy with the vote, why were the French denied a referendum on it, It’s because it’s a treaty that removes sovereignty of nation states, it removes the nation states government from having any control over laws, finance, tax, rules regulations, it outlines the concept of a EU army, it removes our And Denmark’s veto on policy and brings in the majority rule, it ups our contributions massively, it stops us from trading with anybody else outside the EU without paying massive fines and tariffs, it removes our control over the movement of people from inside the EU and outside, it allows the new EU army to enter any nation state to put down insurrection against the EU without the nation in question having any say in it, it’s a surrender document, WHY DO YOU THINK IT WAS SIGNED BEHIND OUR BACKS WITHOUT OUR KNOWING !!!!
Go read it, that’s why I voted leave, it’s why I will continue to vote leave, and it’s why I will object and fight to stay out of the corrupt institution it is till the day I ****ing die.

I have a feeling that you haven't actually read the Treaty, but have instead read the false list of 'facts' about it that has been circulated on social media.
