Yes, we had a vote, you don't like the result, tough, that's democracy.

EU style democracy is have a vote, you don't like the result, keep on voting till they give up and you get a result you do like...

As I pointed out in an earlier post, that is exactly what May is trying to do with her deal.

No idea but I have never seen any of this before, and I suspect it would have been plastered on every space available by the leave campaign if it is all true.

Some rather unpleasant scenes in Washington yesterday when a bunch of teenagers wearing MAGA hats confronted a group of elderly Native Americans on an Indigenous People's March. The brats in the hats were chanting 'Build The Wall', the irony of which was seemingly lost on them.

After looking a bit further into this incident yesterday......seems it might not be all that it seems.......now I’m totally confused as to who was really at fault.....I suggest both sides aren’t innocent :

Seems to be a mix of true and fake. For example, we are precluded from making trade deals. But we are not obliged to join the Euro - the UK and Denmark got opt outs, exemptions from the Maastrich Treaty. All the other nations are obliged to join

You don't really mean that someone on the Leave side is making it up as he goes long. Who would have guessed that they would indulge in such blatant Operation Fear tactics.

I imagine the EU would love to implement all of that and it's probably something they will work towards in the future. I think May crawling to them throughout the negotiations will only enhance the EU's bullying nature. If we'd had a Donald Trump style negotiator we'd have told them how we're going to leave and f*ck them if they didn't like it. I bet they can't believe how easy it's been so far but the stalemate we're in does no one any good...

Jesus Christ, we truly do live in a post-truth world.

Yeah, a serial bankrupt who can’t negotiate anything through his own legislature is just what we need (we have the second bit already). The only power and influence Trump exercises is through the office he occupies, nothing to do with him as a person.

We all need to chill a bit. The metropolitan, globalist, citizen of nowhere elite will corruptly find a path through all this bullshit in a way that benefits them and only them. Trust us, we know what we are doing, even when it looks like we are dead on our feet, we always win in the end. That’s why we’re the ****ing elite, innit? Stainsey knows.

The point I'm making is we should have gone in from the start with our position as 'No deal' rather than the supine way we've let them dictate the whole show. They've fairly walked all over us from start to deadlock...

Time for a revolution, G ;)

Now if we only get the ****s away from their goggleboxes, watching ‘I’m a celebrity on ice dancing’ and out on the streets.....we’ll be half way there.

Then of course you have to get them to stop looting ‘Footlocker’, ‘Currys’ and ‘Game’, instead fighting the ‘man’ in Parliament Square........only then will we be almost there :)
