Not out to upset anyone but......
This situation was always gonna happen. I cant honestly see how anyone else expected any different when we got promoted.
I unfortunately cannot attend most games due to me being a single parent but am for one pleased with the old, new and future support of the Swans.
Do you really think clubs get bigger by operating any other way?? Do you not think that these new supporters will bring their children. How else are football supporters born?
What should we have done? Asked for completion of a test to ensure your a true fan before a season ticket is issued?
I cant honestly see what peoples problems are with any of this apart from two reasons:
1. You cant get a season ticket as they are in high demand since being promoted
2. You dont want to buy a season ticket but want to be able to go to one or two games maybe due to work commitments etc etc
Well here are my answers:
1. You should have bought up when they were not in such demand. I.E Before we were promoted. Im guessing the people whinging now are the people who wanted to see if we were promoted before they committed to buying a ticket.
2 I understand that you would like to go to a match as and when you want but alas being a Prem team brings the demand with it. It was to be expected.
I hate the term Plastic so what gives anyone the right to stop any supporter old or new watching our games?? Nothing or Nobody has the right to stop them. So just get on with it. If you wanted a season ticket, Tough, you should have bought one earlier and if your upset that you may not be able to get a ticket as easy throughout the season as much as i empathise i am shocked that you thought it would be any easier.
Welcome to the premier league and the demand that comes with it.

My Two pennies worth.
