"Sunderland have had an easy start, they'll drop off." Beat Chelsea + Bournemouth, drew with Arsenal in October/November.

"Wait till the derby, Sunderland will be put in their place." Saw off Newcastle with ease.

"Wait till AFCON, they'll fall apart." 6 players missing... played 4 games against Brighton, Leeds, Man City and Spurs and remain unbeaten.

1 point behind 5th with over half the season played.

People just need to accept that one of the most remarkable summers of recruitment in Premier League history, has left Sunderland with a brilliant team with an even better attitude.

West Ham will have a real battle on their hands if they loose tonight
I'm really looking forward to this game.

A West Ham win cripples Burnley but drags Forest back into it.

A Forest win drags Leeds back into it.

A draw keeps them both in trouble and a little hope for Burnley ...

... at home to Man Utd tomorrow.

Great entertainment.

That Karen Brady is annoying on the apprentice

I've never liked her. I remember the first time I saw her, on this football show BBC2 did called "Standing Room Only" when she was at Birmingham. She'd only be in her mid 20s or so at the time and getting out of her silver Porsche convertible outside St Andrew's, wearing a powder blue £1500 suit talking about being "at one with the fans"... Yeah, right. At solidly working class Birmingham City, who had a delapedated ground, had been struggling in the 3rd Division and didn't have a pot to piss in. She's had good press over the years, but some of the stories heard over the years about her make Maggie Byrne look like a paragon of honesty, kindness and probably.

The dildo twins right hand lady wasn’t she.

Pretty much. I think she was there before they took over fully, but not by much. They got control of the club when the then owners went bankrupt and they bought the shares from the receiver before it was going to be liquidated. But she was very much their right hand.
They bought a struggling Birmingham afc, ran it into the ground then bought West Ham, sold their ground to move to a rented ground, no real player investment and now staring relegation, you can see why the Essex lot are pissed..

Think the bottom 3 are gone.

Everyone else has a bit more about them, and a big cushion too.

That’s absolutely shambolic from West Ham today.
Yes, you were right I reckon.

Now I'd like to see Burnley finish above West Ham ...

... then Wolves beat Burnley, on the final day, to go above both of them <laugh>

Far too early to say for me mate.

I think Nads was right, tbh ... unless West Ham change the manager tomorrow.

We pulled off 3 great escapes form much worse positions, WBA as well, so it’s far from over. We aren’t in it though so I don’t particularly care who drops.
I didn't think we were ever so far adrift as West Ham are now, I thought it was no more than 5 or 6 points. Not 7 with an even worse goal difference effectively making it 8. I could be wrong though.
