I cannot stand and totally refuse to watch any sort of reality TV. It seems to be what passes for entertainment these days by the number of the programmes on but I still can't bring myself to get into it. If I wanted to see how others live and watch them I'd become a peeping tom. Tosh the lot of it.
I shall bring my Grand-Daughters curly wurly straw if I meet up with Joe again.

Believe you can watch it in New Zealand but you cannot watch in the UK unless you go to Sheffield that is.

Just seen that Blyth Spartan have put paid to Hartlepool this evening. Lets hope this isn't the one and only cup upset for the weekend as I believe Chelsea beckons in the next round.
Round of drinks for anyone about this evening as I'm a bit fed up with having to watch loads of bleddy Christmas adverts on my tele every evening now. For those local to this part of the World my vote for the worst advert goes to that annoying family who are advertising the Drake Circus shopping Mall. I now cringe everytime it comes on and so hope the bloke at the end actually does fall over instead of just looking like he might. Another few weeks of it all yet bah humbug.

.......doh.I need a stiff one after my wasted day today. Bleddy shops. Went to Currys to try to get one of them there new fangled window vacs so I don't have to rip up my vests anymore for cleaning cloths. Bloke said they didn't have any left in the shop but if I went to the pay desk they might be able to order me one in. Got there and waited about 20 minutes to get served. Got told there were none in any Currys shops in the world at the moment where you could walk in and walk out with one. But, if I went online I could order one direct from the warehouse. I sort of got that puzzled look on my already wrinkled brow. So, I could have one but only online so I thought ok you order me one online, I'll pay you and pick it up when it comes in. Nope can't do that (computer says no moment). They can't order it I have to do it myself. Explained I never shop online and my financial details do not appear anywhere on my computer which is something I'd like to remain. Anyway, if these people force everyone to shop online then her job would eventually go as there would be no need for a shop at all. I think that got lost somewhere in the "are you still here" stare. So bottom line is you can't buy electrical goods in a currys store as they can't get the stock because it's all locked up in a warehouse and can only be released by computer purchasing. F******g priceless.

I would Plym but she keeps staying on the ladder and I have to keep moving it around. She's having a bit of trouble getting to the window on the roof now so I feel I should get something to make life easier. Besides I'm running out of vests now and she's not having the string ones.
Buy her a hover backpack.....and she could earn a tidy little sum up and down the street doing everyones upstairs windows........make sure she understands the controls properly.....or else a crash landing could end up not being a pretty sight.....especially over the festive season.....booking a crematorium over Christmas and the New Year is difficult with them being allowed to have holidays......on second thoughts maybe you should buy one of those window vacs off the internet....try amazon....the delivery man will be knocking on your door before you know it.
I know this is a football site.....but I would just like to raise a toast for a very brave lady......Dorene....in her late 80's.....who passed away an hour ago.
We have only known Dorene for a tad under 5 yrs.....that's when we moved in next door to her.....she had a very hard life...even since birth.
She was quite small and had a pleasant disposition.....she was born with a leg deformity and had worn a leg splint all her life.
Both her parents died when she was very young and she and her sister and brother where brought up by an aunt........her older sister who she was very close too....died at 23 yrs of age.
She had a spine problem as well.....and the surgeons remove the lower part of it....which left her even more disabled.
She did get married.....and had a very adoring husband.....a true love story......but because of her condition children were never a possibility.
One evening her husband commuting home from the city (1993) was the only person who didn't get off the train when it terminated at Orpington.......he had died from a heart attack.....and no one had noticed.
Dorene lived alone and didn't go out very often......she had a regular taxi run to the Post Office to pick up her pension......everything else was delivered by using the telephone.
She twice had breast cancer....the second time it spread through her body and that was the reason she died today in a nearby nursing home.
A few neighbours had got more involved helping her in recent years as she became more ill.....including Mrs Plym........it brings a sobering thought as we all get more involved with the Christmas build up.....that this little insignificant ladies life slowly came to an end......drugged highly on morphine......visited by a small group of friends....and only one blood relative that had come over from her home in Athens Greece.
So please raise a glass to a very brave women......Dorene.....who normally never complained that the fickled finger of fate had dealt her a very poor hand.....a time to count our own blessings.....there is always someone worse off than we are.....how ever down we feel at times.......To Dorene....cheers...... it was an honour to have known you.

I'll drink to that Plymborn and I do recognise the cancer description having witnessed that myself with my mother. Life as they say can be a bitch but it all depends what you do with it. R.I.P. Doreen and although I'm not a believer I could be wrong and perhaps hubby was waiting after all.
