BTW sensible, if I may say so you have a very steriotypical view of all women. In fact we are all very different., I rarely buy shoes or handbags, mostly my shoes are trainers/casual shoes in winter and open shoes/sandals in summer. I have had the same handbags for years and would only shop for new if there were an up-and-coming event such as a wedding.
 
Oh no, you aren't a scouser are you????? Every week in my copy of Hello magazine all women do is shop for bags and shoes and are totally wrapped up in appearance. When I used to get Woman's Own it was all knitting patterns and cooking recipes. Now sorry but it isn't my fault I have an "opinion" of what Women are is it. I have been influenced in my way of thinking.

Damn I will have a rethink about my definition of observation.

Seriously though I do have some nice shoes but rarely go anywhere to wear them - you can't walk in the bloody things! I might treat myself to some new ones if for instance I was given money for my birthday or something but I'm no shoe hoarder as you sometimes seem to suggest.

So the fact that I don't like tennis is why we don't win at it?????? How about the hurray Henry's who play it just ain't bleeding good enough to win anything rather than it being my fault. I have supported Argyle in person and financial terms for years and they haven't won anything either so how does supporting something guarantee success then? I doubt they miss me at Wimbledon every year but I as sure as hell don't miss going. Perhaps that's where they are going wrong, they should send me a Centre Court ticket for the fortnight every year and it may change their luck and I will grow to love it.
 
Argyle haven't won anything...........I could have sworn we were DIV 2 champions and then DIV 1 champions in the last ten years,you must be a very new supporter then.

Of course winning DIV titles doesn't fit in with Mrs Reids opinion of you as an old moaner and don't forget the DOOM & GLOOM title which should be up above the fireplace by now.

Memories are made from such moments, you just have to savour them when they come along.

Pub dart board !!!........to advanced for sensible (those darts can be dangerous) ............more likely the old shov'apenny board which went into decline when halfpennys went out of circulation..........not that we think sensible should go out of circulation..........but if he's down the cellar with a pie and a pint, then he's probably on a skive or waiting to pounce on that innocent barmaid if she comes looking for some more crisps.

He only wanted to teach her the tricks of the trade so to speak,but with too many pies and pints he could never catch her,just have to sleep it off and dream about his distant youth.

I am not sure if this is all an act, he was verbose on 606 but now he has stepped up a gear, whatever he is becoming extremely tiresome, so all in all, he probably is a miserable old bar steward (or cellarman).

Well really, good job I'm not easily offended or put off for that matter. The later comment being one you may not wish to read. I find it a bit rich being condemned as a moaner by plymborn of alll people and labellled old by the very same who is old enough to nearly be my dad. Just because I don't like tennis god forbid. Good job you don't know my opinion of puppies and kittens then. Hate the little bastards by the way just in case you were wondering. As for being an "observer" I'll come and have a look at anything you like if you are offerring. One final thing for plymborn. I don't eat pies I only eat pasties when it comes to something in a pastry. Pies are something YOU have gotten used to since being evicted from the City and having to go to live in foreign pastures. Note, most OAPs retire to Devon or the South West not out of the area. What was the problem, did Help the Aged insist on it to keep you out of the meetings and clubs down here?
