Survived another Halloween so that must be worth a pint or two. This place looks a bit like a cave with all the cobwebs and stuff. Got a visit from a couple of monsters this evening who robbed me of all my sweets. It's a repeat trick cause they do it every time they turn up.
Is it just me or is this place becoming more and more like bleddy America every year? We seem to inherit all of their rubbish annual stuff and bad habits. When I was a kid nobody had heard of Halloween or Trick or Treat.

I'm amazed old sensible hasn't opened the Pilgrimage Bar over Christmas.......having said he was going away for a few days...the penny has suddenly dropped.....he's locked himself away in there with all the booze and all THE CRISPS......and probably smuggled in the bar girl to help him do a stocktake....hint,hint,nudge,nudge,wink,wink.....you crafty old devil.......just make sure it's all ready for new years eve....or we'll let Mrs sensible know what you've been upto.

Why anyone would bother to sign up just to be a bit of a dick is beyond me but hey ho each to their own I suppose. You may find some suspicion at the outset until proven not to be the same person who seems to delight in jumping in every now and again just to be an idiot.

Ladies and gentlemen lets have a minutes silence for the plastic Man U fans who, for the first time in a decade, have nothing to brag about. The final humiliation has been enacted and they are now out of everything they could be out of this season. What will they do I have to ask. So, if you spot one sitting head in hands in the gutter, pick them up and invite them into the bar for a stiff one.

Right troops I've found the key and opened up for a last season binge. Drinks are on Gat I heard and plym is going to stump up for the pork scratchings. Bears are included as well as Mexican jumping beans and Camel lovers.
It's been a funny old season this time around hasn't it. We have been absolutely dire in some matches and almost classy in some others. We were down with the also rans for a fair bit then suddenly took off and it led some to believe we might just make a fist of this season. Only to be let down again at the end and finished 10th. Don't know about the rest of you but I picked that finishing position at the start because I thought that would actually be a sign of improvement and of course it is. However, I sort of feel a bit let down again now given it was in their grasp to extend the season. Next season is going to be quite defining because I would expect us to step up again and this time only a play off place would seem acceptable.
