What Gat doesn't know is after having my cellar raided in my absence I carry my vintage crisps with me in a bag at all times. Anyone want a packet of Smith's Crisps with the salt packet in them?

And whilst on the subject of food and especially pasties, never ever mention the word Ginsters in the same sentence as pasties again please. Now go wash your mouth out and if you have eaten one, have your stomach pumped. You will thank me for that advice I guarantee.

They're just vintage is all plym. Fresh, well nearly, as the day they were packed. I eat them all the time. Might as well have a glass or two whilst I'm here.

McCoy's crisps are far and away the best........plus a pint of Merrydown cider (7.5%).......if you have more than three of those make sure your sitting comfortably for awhile......and the cars at home.

    Hi guys,
Not posted here in a while, I look in most days but have not really seen anything that begs a response. TBH I'm not filled with hope for the new season, it's all too quiet and the friendlies haven't done anything to fill me with confidence either.

I have been watching the Olympics which has surprised even me, I only really expected to follow the footy and the tennis but haven't watched either. I have been watching the gymnastics and swimming - I guess because that is what is being shown live when I get home from work. The Olympics seem to be largely dominated by the Chinese and the yanks both of which seem in a class of their own. It took 2 women to get our gold medals up and running which is typical is all I can say.

I'm off to Cardiff on Friday for a long weekend, taking my son to see the Olympic footy on Saturday, not sure who we'll be watching but I do know it's a men's match and I have a feeling one of the teams will be GB. I noted that the women's GB side beat Brazil so we would do well to follow in their footsteps!

Hope everyone is well including Mrs Plym and Mrs Sensible and that everyone it reading the posts here even if like me they are bored ****less with it and aren't commenting <laugh>

    Think I'll have a :emoticon-0168-drink whilst I'm here :emoticon-0105-wink:

Mine's a pint.....cheers. Hello Mrs lalala I thought you might have emigrated as you haven't been around. I have watched a bit of the Olympics myself today for just about the first time since it started. Only done 20 minutes or so previously. I still can't get into it as such. Just watched the men's football tonight and thought it was a crap game to be honest and can't even get excited that they have qualified to continue. Listened to the ladies this morning winning their gold and watched a bit of Bradley pumping his pedals. The target is supposed to be 48+ medals but I think we are going to be hard pushed to get near that. If you look at the multi millions they have had from the lottery in sponsorship it is hardly value for money. It doesn't even look as if London is going to make a fortune out of it either. Good job the westcountry is competing for GB including the foreign girl. We have had more mentions than any other part so far.

Well it's been fecking miserable here hp-bedoboy. Weather has been garbage for ages and not looking like any sort of summer at all. Combined with the lack of activity on the "in" door at Home Park, all in all people are a tad fed up. Damn it give me a bucket of ale I need a stiff one.............o'er matron.

Hi folks had some downtime from here in the closed season, planned to post when we made a good signing so.........was quiet. Still green goggles on for the start of the season and the Army marches on. So an oggie, pint of scrumpy and a round of The Greens are Going Up will be perfect please.

Happy birthday Mrs LaLa.........going on the town tonight.......should there be a red warning alert for the area tonight.

Must be getting nearer retirement....unless the government move the goal posts again.

That sounds like a good idea.....maybe Argyle should keep moving them....... might stop the opposition scoring so many goals.

Haha I think I'm well past nights on the town Plym, I drink very little alcohol these days. I'm a long way off pensionable age and tbh I think by the time I reach it there will be a "work 'till you drop" policy.

I can't get excited about Argyle, I don't know why I just can't - I have no interest in it. Maybe it will come but it hasn't yet.

Never mind Mrs LaLa........there will always be a tipple of whatever you want behind the bar....just mention my name......and the "old git" (your words) might even let you have a packet of his much protected crisps.....but don't hang on too long....there is always the free peanuts on the bar.

Happy birthday Mrs lalala. 21+ again this year is it? You only like Tom Daley because he smuggles budgies in his shorts.

Must admit to being a tad underwhelmed with the Green thing so far but hell, it's nearly kick off time for real so maybe the enthusiasm will arrive in the post on Monday. Thanks for the beer hp_bedoboy and welcome back to mexijan.
