Wonder how much that match will have taken out of Del Potro? I thought he was the coolest man in the stadium during the tie-break. What I find irksome is Nadal's over the top excitability that makes him look less than dignified, The same with Murray at times but to a lesser extent than Nadal.
 
Laura Trott's gold in the team pursuit makes her the first British woman ever to achieve 3 Olympic gold medals in any sport. She still has another event to go as well!

All Brit final coming up tomorrow at 9 in the cycling! What I liked best about Kenny vs The Russian was the Russian coach who was jumping up and down and running to the camera after the first leg, but looked like a sulky schoolboy after the third round!

And Mo Farah. Blimey, didn't he do well. Greg Rutherford did his level best. What a fighter. He got a bronze in the end. And I'm not going to tell you about Jessica because at the moment I still don't know.!

That was some 10000m race. Wonderful battle on the last lap between the Kenyan and Mo, and more importantly a reasonably fast time with the first four round well inside 28 minutes Great long jump, feel for the South African who had gold snatched from him with Henderson's final leap but congratulations to Jeff for keeping his nerve on that 6th and final leap. Rutherford was bitterly disappointed with himself. No need to be!!

Asked about American swimmer Lilly King's comments that people who have been caught doping "shouldn't be on the team", Gatlin, twice been caught using banned substances, responded: "I don't even know who Lilly King is." I think we can share Justin's sentiments here, "Who is Lily King?" She would have been wiser to have kept her mouth shut.
