Fair point, and you are right I havent got the energy to read through all replies!

Sacking him would be lunacy, surely nobody has suggested that? There's morals and professional conduct, then there is just madness. If he isnt bought then you would, and absolutely should, make the most of his extraordinary footballing talent. That is a given.

The problem is many sections of the media and the country would portray you as the pantomine villains for doing this.

It will be a very difficult position for the club, but I have to say if a bid of 70 odd mill comes in I agree with you, I think you might just take it. There is the makings of a very good team in there, and whilst no team is better off in a footballing sense without Luis Suarez in it, he might just have forced your board's hand on this one...
