Uruguay say that only the Uk are making a big deal about this. A lot of people across the world are even criticizing Chielinni for being a cry baby.

The UK love a witch hunt to much.

There's been thousands of straight leg challenges and kicks etc and I've seen plenty of them. However it's only Suarez who's made biting a regular event. It's the bizarreness of the incident that makes it so shocking. No-ones saying that there's not been more violent actions carried out on the pitch, but biting?

For it to have happened at FIFA's showcase this ones going to get round the globe with vastly more coverage than the last time he heaped embarrassment on your club and it's sponsors

Precedent as been set in the past.
Jossep Simic, Croation defender, only got an international ban when on international duty for Croatia after in joined in with some of their fans when they were chanting racist comments.
Hope the same applies here, he gets an international ban, not domestic and we can get rid of him..
Said elsewhere ALL the recent BAD press is because of him... wanted him gone after first biting incident, don't want him anywhere near our club now.
Enough is a enough.

Try reading the post I made again.....I actually said, he's done it 3 times and I can't remember seeing 3 similar incidents in 35 years. In fact the only one I can remember is the Defoe one.

but I didn't say he was the 'worst ever' I said he was mentally unstable and one of the thickest to do something like that 3 times and ignore any consequence. You ignored it and translated it into the bizarre language of 'Sisu'
 
The continous and desperate use of ad hominm and non sequitur by #bitters (not just the EFC one) shows there's no coherent basis for their #rage <laugh>

you are quite correct, he has made it a signature theme and it is bizarre and stupid, i understand you are coming from the more disgusting/nasty side than the violent worse side <ok>

i do wonder however what headlines globally it generates right now.

i'm sure italy it huge.. how about cope in holland or bcr or milk in usa.... any major stories?

quite nice balanced piece.. the lack of which on bbc etc here is what causes most of the defense of suarez.

i wonder igf its all blown up... everyone else on earth might just be going silly boy, thats his world cup over. expect a bit of a ban and have moved on while the rabid (pun intended) suarez haters (ie rival club fans) wish to see him hanged... perhaps most of the world amazingly doesn't much care?

I dont see anyone here defending him. He has no excuses whatsoever, his actions looked premeditated, and he tried to hide his actions by pretending to have been elbowed. Many like me condemned his racist incident too. I think we in the vast majority are in agreement. Whether the rest of the world apparently say it is nothing should not detract from the fact that this is something we do not want to have children imitating in our playgrounds.
