Oh I can think of a few who come close <laugh> I think this is an easy one for FIFA to be honest. Get his teeth removed and we'll let him off lightly....or just muzzle him (not in an Islamic way).

Yes Barton is a lesser demon, smashing up team mates and attacking several people during a game. Barton is not alone in his madness. Attacking a fan with a flying kick? Ending careers with vicious tackles, taking coke while playing.,. the list goes on.

So, in short you are talking bollocks drogs.

I never said he was the worst, I'm saying he's thickest. He's a ****ing idiot for doing something as abhorrent as biting somebody three times.

It's a hard line to draw, but any assault that is not part of challenging for the ball is a crime really. Keane and Thatcher though, two of the most shocking things I have ever seen during a game.

This. Horrendous tackles whoich should have no part in the game.

As to Suarez, IMO he is doing himself no favours by saying it is "part of the game. We just came into contact". The pictures are damning and they look premeditated. He would have been better off showing contrition, hold his hands up and say that it was a brainstorm albeit a repeat one and say he regrets it very sincerely.

Barton: the voice of reason?

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton tweets about Luis Suarez's alleged bite: "I love Suarez. I love his passion for the game. I would have him on my team every day of the week. I am also aware you can't defend him here.
"All things considered I'd rather receive a bite than a leg-breaking challenge. Whilst he should be punished, it is not the end of the world."

Yeah, no defence. he knows it too, he knows he's ****ed.

Tobes, UiR and Drogs can all be awarded the badge of Less Reasonable Than Joey Barton <laugh>

A lucid moment from barton, there aren't many of those <laugh>

i agree nothing similar but there are some context like a deliberate stamping with studs.. we've many examples... in world cup terms did fifa punish de jong when his premeditated kick to alonso chest which was a shocker....

why?

he was suspended for sf... webb bottled decision in final.. his total punishment astonishingly was a yellow.

then in October 2010, he nearly ruined Hatem Ben Arfa's career a double fracture of his left tibia and fibula. punishment? the dutch boss actually canned him for being a nut case by his own decision. he was not sent off either in this game and got NO retrospective punishment despite not even getting a yellow.

he is famously known as the lawnmower back in holland and its alomost a joke.

so.............. surez is a nut case who's clearly, premeditatedly bit a third player... but he's not even close to being the most dangerous footballer going.. therefore i can think of worse incidents but cannot think of a more stupid one ever given a total of 17 matches already banned for and you do the same again...

De Jong being a yard dog is irrelevant to the point I was making

There's been thousands of straight leg challenges and kicks etc and I've seen plenty of them. However it's only Suarez who's made biting a regular event. It's the bizarreness of the incident that makes it so shocking. No-ones saying that there's not been more violent actions carried out on the pitch, but biting?

For it to have happened at FIFA's showcase this ones going to get round the globe with vastly more coverage than the last time he heaped embarrassment on your club and it's sponsors

Tobes and Drogs seem to be getting quite angry about this <laugh>

Cool as a cucumber. This conveys just how moronic you and Sisu are, anger doesn't translate over here. I'm just calling a spade a spade - and you are one monumental spade :)

edit: not billy <laugh>

All I did was disagree that he was not the worst ever. And pointed out your hypocrisy of calling people prick when you didn't tolerate it when you were a mod.

now it's "moron", if you can't see the fail that is your behaviour on here Drogs we can't help you. if you can't talk about Suarez without spittle forming in the corners of your mouth then **** off somewhere else then<ok>

So preventing someone being shocked is more important than preventing more dangerous but more common forms of violence?

Like I said, sort your story out.

When Bartons on your side, it just shows how much **** your in!

Oh look stage 2 of the kopite "non defence" - Defoe appears <doh>

Again fail, you said it does not happen on a pitch, I clearly showed it does or at least has and yet again you leave out the context of my reply to YOU and claim this is a defence of Suarez.

You are flapping pathetically here today, wtf is wrong with you, leave your A game on the train or something? <laugh>

Well put MITO, into context without defending suarez, nice<ok>

he is indefensible and deserves what he gets. however 2 year worldwide bans are laughable in the context of fifa

they gave maradona 15 months for drugs (cocaine) but knew he was retired anyway..

its wummy hopes that he gets any more than a big international ban... i feel 12 matches plus 12 suspended is something that might be fair... longer than fa ban (not by much though) and with 12 suspended it allows fifa to hold a 2 year ban for someone endings someones career deliberately.
