Oh I can think of a few who come closeI think this is an easy one for FIFA to be honest. Get his teeth removed and we'll let him off lightly....or just muzzle him (not in an Islamic way).
Yes Barton is a lesser demon, smashing up team mates and attacking several people during a game. Barton is not alone in his madness. Attacking a fan with a flying kick? Ending careers with vicious tackles, taking coke while playing.,. the list goes on.
So, in short you are talking bollocks drogs.
It's a hard line to draw, but any assault that is not part of challenging for the ball is a crime really. Keane and Thatcher though, two of the most shocking things I have ever seen during a game.
As my thread said yesterday quit the childish name calling, I've just had to edit a post.
This. Horrendous tackles whoich should have no part in the game.
As to Suarez, IMO he is doing himself no favours by saying it is "part of the game. We just came into contact". The pictures are damning and they look premeditated. He would have been better off showing contrition, hold his hands up and say that it was a brainstorm albeit a repeat one and say he regrets it very sincerely.

Barton: the voice of reason?
Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton tweets about Luis Suarez's alleged bite: "I love Suarez. I love his passion for the game. I would have him on my team every day of the week. I am also aware you can't defend him here.
"All things considered I'd rather receive a bite than a leg-breaking challenge. Whilst he should be punished, it is not the end of the world."

i agree nothing similar but there are some context like a deliberate stamping with studs.. we've many examples... in world cup terms did fifa punish de jong when his premeditated kick to alonso chest which was a shocker....
why?
he was suspended for sf... webb bottled decision in final.. his total punishment astonishingly was a yellow.
then in October 2010, he nearly ruined Hatem Ben Arfa's career a double fracture of his left tibia and fibula. punishment? the dutch boss actually canned him for being a nut case by his own decision. he was not sent off either in this game and got NO retrospective punishment despite not even getting a yellow.
he is famously known as the lawnmower back in holland and its alomost a joke.
so.............. surez is a nut case who's clearly, premeditatedly bit a third player... but he's not even close to being the most dangerous footballer going.. therefore i can think of worse incidents but cannot think of a more stupid one ever given a total of 17 matches already banned for and you do the same again...

Tobes and Drogs seem to be getting quite angry about this![]()

"something that has no comparison. What he did just doesn't happen on the pitch"
Tobes, you forgetting Defoe already?
You must log in or register to see images
Seriously mate, just give it up yeah
.Cool as a cucumber. This conveys just how moronic you and Sisu are, anger doesn't translate over here. I'm just calling a spade a spade - and you are one monumental spade![]()

De Jong being a yard dog is irrelevant to the point I was making
There's been thousands of straight leg challenges and kicks etc and I've seen plenty of them. However it's only Suarez who's made biting a regular event. It's the bizarreness of the incident that makes it so shocking. No-ones saying that there's not been more violent actions carried out on the pitch, but biting?
For it to have happened at FIFA's showcase this ones going to get round the globe with vastly more coverage than the last time he heaped embarrassment on your club and it's sponsors
