Have Marveaux, Santon and Ben Arfa on the bench.. yet he brings on Lovenkrands and Guthrie.

After Wolves made their subs we should have gone 4-5-1 bringing on Benny for Ba, not ****ing Lovenkrands. Thats like going down to 10 men.

**** it all, we won Another 3 points in the bag, unbeaten with 15 points after 7 games. And, for now, we're sitting in 3rd

 

I think Wolves deserved better.
I'll take the win, but they were very unlucky today.

We had the chances to seal this game.

 

Yes.. we are still unbeaten, yes our performance in the first-half was very good and yes we won!

BUT.. questions need to be asked to Pardew..

1) What happend in the second-half? Wolves dominated.
2) Why bring on Lovenkrands? When you have the likes of Ben Arfa and Marvo instead who could have played in the ''hole'' therefore giving us that extra man in midfield.

I could understand Guthrie though.. just not Lovenkrands! :/

good result, lucky for us unlucky for wolves, but 3 points is all that matters. As has been said what was Pardew thinking with his subs. Should have been a midfielder for Ba, not Lovenkrands but another 3 points snatched and a good start to the season keeps getting better but I am wondering what will happen next week at spurs now...

 

wolves are a physical team, pards probably didnt want to risk them.

 

3 points or not, I'm seriously pissed off with Pardew. He's done this type of **** every week.

I honestly think he was the one most at fault for that awful second half, that disallowed goal looked legit as well.

 

this is starting to worry me... same as blackburn way to un clinical could have easily increased our lead make it alot easier

agree with this...****ing annoying like i said earlier if we'd played like we did first half and not sat back we'd have won this comfortably but **** the pundits it's 3 points and on we go HTL

 

why not give ben arfa and santon a run out when 2-0 up with 15 mins left? instead we took off our leading goal scorer and creative midfielder for 2 much worse players when wolves were throwing everything at us..... dont get it.

 

So lucky today but we've been so generally unlucky in the past it's about time these sort of things evened themselves out! We never used to get the rub of the green and decisions never really evened themselves out throughout the season. I know I might get shot down for that comment but I truly believe it!

Also, why bring Cabaye off for Guthrie? Obertan should have come off. He wasn't providing a good enough outlet with his pace towards the end to warrant staying on!

However, 3 points and that's all that matters! F**k the media and whatever they say about us having a lucky start to the season. . . What matters is that we're making the most of it! HTL!

 

we should have brought on Guthrie and Marv for Ba and Obertan when they made their double sub... would have allowed us gain control of the midfield and still have an attacking outlet

I agree Pardew should have tried to control the game with some subs, but people calling for Ben Arfa and Santon on, i disagree. They are coming back from bad injurys and I would not want them on the pitch with a dirty wolves team who are playing overly aggressive in the final 20minutes of a game.
