I know, it took me, Gerrez and magic ages to get that done <laugh>

I do like the pic though as he does look like Freddie

Is that you in your sig?

The guy pulling the stupid face and sticking his figure up in my sig is indeed me. Albeit about 10 years ago.

Nice one mate, I'd put my pic in my sig but already got to many admirers here so if I put my Adonis like pic in I wouldnt shake the batards off

Quite disappointed in our club who since the day of the incident never came to the press with any sort of statement on their star player. Not good.

The club did right by not saying anything. If you can't support your player it is better to keep a dignified silence. He's dragged us in the mud too often. Good riddance to a most selfish individual <ok>

This bite had nothing to do with our club since he was away with Uruguay at the time. What would we say?

Ah, so if he bites somebody on international duty it is nothing to do woth Liverpool but if he scores the goal/s that win a game he is a Liverpool player?

So Liverpool make a statement praising him after every international goal?

No, when did anyone say that?

I accept not in those words, but you have to take the good with the bad. He is a Liverpool player, just because he was playing for Uruguay at the time does not absolve you from any responsibilty for him , he did the same while playing for you so obviously you have done nothing to correct this.

Cannot you not argue it the other way then, too? So, in that case, he should also have been banned for playing for Uruguay during his ban for the Ivanovitch chomp. No?

Yawn utter balls... No point even discussing such matters when actions of lfc have been quite clear in forcing player to take full ban then and apologising and getting sports head shrunken in too boot.

Fact is 75mil richer plus cl football is a great return off the guy especially at his age so he leaves in his prime? So? We now got oodles of cash to improve our team which is all about midfield and improving our defensive record and really just one good buy of a striker away from not being much worse off up front

Yes in the land of fifa and football manager that is great but I don't trust us to spend that money wisely in the slightest. I think BR is a great manager but I really question his transfer policy and the amounts we are spending. 20mil seems to be the starting price for all our targets at the moment. Lovren, lallana and Moreno for Suarez? No thanks, prefer Suarez.

its the starting point for EVERY player. It's ridiculous but the tv moeny increases and then the transfer fee greed does too.

Lovern, lallana and moreno = 20, 25,20 = 65mil but NONE are from suarez money are they.. they are NEEDED for our team (lovern i'm not gone on but hey) its an 11 man game so suarez could win f all on his own and our midifeld and defence are issues... When suarez goes we can replace with a player who won't misee potentially a THIRD of next season... a THIRD F sake he's out anyway. 75mil is all his money without doubt.

Surely it's the other way round? BR has to operate in the real world, it's those who say "we've got the money why don't we just buy player X- he's good" who are living in Football Manager Land.
We all (well almost all) would prefer to keep Suarez, but we all know the reasons he's off and there's precious little we can do about it.
In the real world we move on, we have no choice.

For goodness sake!! LFC is a football club who's first team squad is made up of the best mix of players that we can get to help us achieve our objectives. We are NOT Suarez FC - he as an asset either as a player or as a commodity nothing more and nothing less. At this point in time his highest value to us is as a commodity. So sell him for the best price, we've tried retaining him at any price and that hasn't worked so sell and buy players that we need.

United will find out with Rooney and RvP that keeping them sweet is going to win them nothing. Let's not continue on that road. As for those who don't believe that we will invest the money wisely then present facts to support your argument or shut up. The only 'history' we have of this type of situation was Torres and that was under different management and very different circumstances.

The plain and simple truth is that the Club is bigger than any individual player. So thanks Suarez and goodbye and Hello the Redmen of 2014/5 who will take us where we want to go! (whoever they may be)

I agree there is always another star coming, Owen, Torres, Suarez in that order yet we won the cl with baros.... Think on that

31 goals is a big loss but if you replace with 20 up top and 10 in midfield it's really the game changing moment we might miss... We will see won't we

I'd rather we demand consistent high performance from all 11 than rely on Suarez to get us the 70 points we need
