It will be Allardyce, the race is on for who sacks their manager first, us, Cardiff or Huddersfield. Sam is a cert to be approached by whoever pulls the trigger first

If it’s Huddersfield then I’d happily take their guy.

If it's us the club won't be getting a single penny from me.

    Wouldn't surprise me.

Our support in general is very poor & you can’t just blame on Northam, as a few seem to. Been going for too long to work out but even in the Dell days it was still very blah apart from certain key games. Social pressures, change in attitudes & money have all affected. Not sure why down the road has always been able to do when we can’t. That’s probably the key question.

This may not be the reason, but when your team is in the lower leagues, the hangers on and the 'audience', who sit quietly and watch (not wrong, just a different way of supporting), drift away.
This leaves the 'hard core' support (similar to our away support) who would sing whatever the situation. If your support only consists of such people, then it will always appear to be 'better' (whatever that means) than the support of 'bigger' clubs (those with more people through the turnstiles).

The home support of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd is enormous, but the atmosphere at those grounds is usually flat, unless they score. So, basically, because we get more fans than lower league clubs, we get a smaller percentage of those fans that sing.
