It is ... Until they get another sissoko moment then they all become like astro
That’s the beauty of VAR, although it’s ****, it will **** them over at some point this season and we call all sing
‘Cum by VAR my Lord’![]()
It's ****in everyone over...the girls amongst us need to stop crying about it.
It will **** everybody over, so I suppose it’s fair enough in that way.
Bit pointless though when it doesn’t solve the problem it was brought in to save. But I suppose it’s got banter value.

I honestly don't get the issue...it did it's job. It spotted a handball that influenced a goal...that is the ruling
Like I say, everyone going to get done by the letter of the Law.
Nice little jig of joy by Jesus there at the end though.

So, you think that your sorry lot are going to be a match for City, yeah?
Can't see Arsenal playing 10 men behind the ball like you did though. So, you think that your sorry lot are going to be a match for City, yeah?
Better than playing 10 in front of it, like you did against Utd.Can't see Arsenal playing 10 men behind the ball like you did though.

I don't know how the offside law can be fixed other than removing it altogether. However it is worded it will come down to a few millimetres in practice. As for handball, I think the new law is an improvement as it removes the judgement call of whether the offence is intentional when scoring a goal is involved and it also makes it reasonably clear as to what intentional means in other situations.VAR wasn't the problem ... it got the decision right based on the current law ... which is the intention ... the current law is however absolute ****e ... both for handball and for offside ... both can easily be fixed by someone with a brain![]()

I'd be interested in what your fixes would be though.
The trouble with the “daylight” rule is that the official has to be at the correct angle to see the daylight properly. If he’s behind the play, he may well see daylight, but it may not be that the attacker is ahead of the defender.
This is why the current rule exists - to eradicate the errors that abounded with the previous rule.
As regards the new hand ball rule, it has been introduced to bring about certainty. If you touch the ball, accidentally or not, it’s hand ball.
Is it a perfect rule? No. But it provides certainty.
These rule changes, and VAR, have been introduced because refs have grown tired of being continually slated. Fans and pundits have inherited a modern game as a result of their whining.
Everyone should put up with the rules, and shut up moaning.
