What you on about Quents? ... doesn't need 'every professional's... just common sense rules that can be quickly assessed ...![]()

Because that will never have occurred to the game’s rule makers!

And in the next match someone will be full stretch on the ground with his foot 2m offside and will be given onside because his head ovelaps the body of the last defender.
Just Jude on head and body ... foot or arm alone doesn't count ... nowt will be absolutely perfect other than abolishing offside rule altogether ...

Rush goalies.
not all rule makers have necessarily played the game Quents ...

Yet you have, yeah?
Yes mate ... it's all relative but I played in what is now the Spartan South Midlands league during my late 20s ... so a fair standard with paid officials.

Fcuking Hell!
The lads are going to have a field day with this latest claim!
Rag doll away, lads!

To be fair, you told us all that you used to be a referee![]()
That’s how I have acquired the bulk of my deep insight into the game, Pix.

So Umbongos deliberate handball in Madrid would have escaped punishment then?On the offside I'd go for clear daylight on head and body ... ignore limbs ... benefit to the attacker... that should lend itself to a quick assessment
In handball I'd go 'hand to bal' ... still open to interpretation but better than the current situation whereby an attacker can be penalised but a defender excused for any contact however unintentional

Hmm, the whole football world called it bar around 500 spuds. If it's 'deliberate handball', then, by definition, it's hand to ball![]()
