Okay, they might be playing well as a team right now and have just beaten your miserable outfit but can you name me which of their players will be worth 10m are more? Could you even name me their starting 11? They have a bunch of players who have been let go from the reserves from outfits like yourself. If they were that decent and worth so much more why would you be giving them AWAY for FREE.
Obviously they're not bad players, they are in the premier league, but they are no where near the class of top 4 or according to the league table they aren't even mid table "average" premier league class.
Every squad needs a manger to impement a system that gets the best out of them, the technically superior squad + manager, system, tactics should = beating teams like Bournemouth. Either the players are not doing what they're told or the manager is getting it wrong. I'm going with the manager getting it wrong when it comes to Utd at this point.
Wtf is all this bollocks about us having a reserve side out?!

Are we seriously trying to claim that Mata, Lingard, Depay and Martial shouldn't be able to trouble Bournemouth's defence at all? Admittedly they will struggle to trouble their defence if the only service they get is hoofball to Fellaini, but that's hardly a result of injuries, is it?

And you must be quite young. Living through the successful years of Chelsea same as most of the fans here who have lived the successful fergie years.
When you have seen the most expensive team of the biggest club relegated then you might realise all these arguments about money and costs of players preventing a team being (heavily) defeated are just absurd.

Money arguments are not absurd mate, its just logic, if you are spending lots of money, and are not getting a return on the investment, then something needs to change, either managerially (is that a word?) or at board level, so that the money is spent wisely.
So often these days we are seeing money thrown away by clubs, most noticably the absolute dog ****e purchased by Liverpool and Spurs in the wake of selling Suarez and Bale respectively.
It's a sign that funds are being mis spent.
You are making my point. Just because someone spent £30m + on a player does not mean that player will deliver the goods in that team. Benteke for example costs £35m but is he worth that to his team? No. He is absolutely worthless to the team's system.
I know I may be in a minority here but I don't think it is all due to LVG. Or even the players. LVG takes some of the blame as he is the manager, the players must take some responsibility as they are not robots (or should not be). I cannot believe that LVG will force his players to pass backwards or sideways. If there are 20+ shots, LVG told them to avoid shooting on goal or avoid scoring?
But then also the other clubs have become more diffcult to beat too. because of the riches of the premier league the likes of Everton, WBA, Palace, leicester have some good and expensive players, and whn the rich clubs come calling some may even resist
The expectation that A will beat B because A is a bigger club will still remain but if injuries and suspensions kick in then there is a finer balance.
Your own club since the beginning of the season has disproved everyone's argument here. Chelsea have spent a shedload on their squad. Most of their players costs tens of millions so by your and others arguments they have easily beaten the likes of Bournemouth. Yet Chelsea lost more than 50% of their matches against so called very "inferior " opposition. So how does that come about? Are United very different to Chelsea?

No they are not different.
There is no good reason for us to be where we are.
Especially since we won the league by at 8 points last year with largely the same squad.
Its not just the money though is it.
It is about signing players that will fit into your system, and utilising them properly also.
We know Mourinho can do this at Chelsea, he has done many times. Again, I have nothing to say in Chelsea's defence this season, its mega ****ed up!!
And the only reason Mourinho still has a job is because he is Jose Mourinho, and we are the reigning champions. But this will only buy him so much, in terms of tolerance from fans and the board.
LvG doesnt seem to be capable of utilising the players he has signed to deliver the football that many United fans want.
He was delivering, barely, on the results front, but now that has started to fall off as well.
As he is new to the PL it could be that he isn't cut out for this league, or that he is signing the wrong players.
The stats I linked showing United having made the fewest forward passes in the league and the most backward passes is pretty shocking.
I have seen you play twice this season, but I hadn't realised it was that bad.
I appreciate it's happened before, all the more reason to ensure it doesn't happen again.
Some of the ****e coming from van Gaal (and Moyes before him of course) and certain fans is all starting to look a bit self fulfilling.

I am still to this day puzzled how and why this kind of **** happens. All sorts of reasons (some say excuses). Why are Chelsea so **** this season when they were champions by a VERY long margin last? Why did Moyes' United lose all these matches at OT with a team full of title winning players? Why are Chelsea losing matches with the same players? Why did it take us the biggest club in the land and champions under Busby so many years to get back to prominence again? Why did it take (and still taking) the RS such a long time to get back to the top again? they are spending shed loads so that cannot be the reason.
I suspect that in addition to the manager being to blame, there are other reasons like getting the right players and the other teams one would expect to beat not being so easy to beat these days.

LVG has been boring everyone to tears about his mythical feelossofee. Gradually the team has evolved into the side we have seen this season. It's the result of his feelossofee and it's **** to watch.
Not in disagreement here. the football has been getting worse but so has the injury list.
For me nothing has changed. The defeat at Bournemouth has not got me foaming at the mouth screaming for him to be sacked now. He should not have his contract extended and should go as soon as we have an adequate replacement.
If we are on schedule to get back into top 4 why dismiss him to have a temp (like Giggs) in charge? Suicidal IMO.
