Yes there is. I had a complete rupture just below the calf muscle about 10 months ago but went the non-surgical route and I'm still very conscious that it is more likely to reoccur. Apparently, if you go for surgery the recovery period is slightly shorter and the likelihood of re-rupture is a little less but still very high.

I still can't run and walk with a slight limp but was told that full recovery can take up to a year.

Mazuch is available for Saturday. Good news.
I just hope Leo doesn't think I'll stick with 3-4-3 and play Mazuch instead of hector.

That's weird the I pad changed Mazuch to Manucho. Weird

I'll keep this first post updated through the season.

Kevin Stewart - Ankle injury - Expected back in the squad for Norwich.
Fraizer Campbell - Knee Injury - 50/50 for Norwich.

Stephen Kingsley - Groin surgery) - out until November.
Abel Hernandez - Achilles Injury - Out for six months.
Evandro - Quad injury - Permanently two weeks away...
Will Keane - Cruciate ligament injury (knee) - Out until late November.
Moses Odubajo - Dislocated kneecap - Not expected back before December 2017.
Ryan Mason - Skull fracture - Return date unknown.

Evandro is supposed to be available for Norwich isn't he?

Good news but I can't see him dislodging Aina at right back...
If he comes back at anything like the level he was before he's miles better than Aina defensively, and not much worse going forward. I thought he was on a similar level to Robertson previously.

Odubajo has been out such a long time you really can't guarantee what he'll be like if and when he comes back
I'm not trying to be negative but realistic when I say that
