Adkins has said that he's not going to rush Abel straight back into the starting XI, as it was a mistake he made with Evandro, causing his injury to flare up again.

I must admit I never thought we’d see Abel again, and even if we did it would be a very short cameo before he picked up another niggle to keep himself safe for a contract elsewhere
Fair play to him though. Very good player and I’m glad we have seen him again (shame he’ll be on his way close season though)
he's one of these players whose presence on the pitch breathes positivity into the team as the others know that there's always a chance of a goal if you give him the ball in the right place
He's just been called into the Scotland squad so I assume it was only a minor injury and he might even play on tuesday
Certainly don't want Marshall again. We wont get out of jail with two keeper errors every game.
