ha! That's definitely a game i shall be going to...and if i remember rightly, it's near the end of the season, i suspect i won't have seen him for a while! lol

Oh Roger, that's great to know, thank you! He's already thinking he will take the year abroad option...i know they have to get in early on that one to get a good placement, and he'd love to spend it in Australia, so i think he'll be getting his name down asap :).

morning all :) Dress fitting this morning for little miss Hornette and last minute shopping for the Bat Mitzvah which is suddenly in only 3 weeks time...<gulp>!

After the huge gambit of emotions yesterday, today will be much calmer! We're out tonight, taking Master Hornette for a celebratory meal...it's going to be weird, we never go out on a Friday, but we don't have any other day to go, and at least we'll all be together!

And tomorrow looms...yay! I can't wait to get to Palace tomorrow, which is strange coz we never do well there....so i'm hoping we buck the trend!
 
Morning all. Ak where are you in SP? As it would have been interesting to meet. I have been with the outlaws in Vila Maria Alta in Zona Norte of the city, first time in over seven years, I know that as I have a six year old neice who I have never seen and I didn't see her mum pregnant either.

Strangely, the Brasilians weren't to bothered about their Olympic "failure".

Seems all hell has broken lose since I went away. Transfer embargo imposed and lifted, the academy going for level 1 status and then changing that for level 3. Nice new kit with a sponsor and then a different sponsor, though I'm not quite sure having a handheld football manager is any better than a happy egg! Will the new chaps gel quickly and how does our loan situation allow us so many loanees above the four stipulated in FA rules? A borrowing club is a borrowing club irrespective of the scource of the loaned players, or the ownership of the clubs involved. Is the Red Lion issue resolved, did WFC owe the IR a shedload of money, has Baz had the horses head yet?

After years of resisting I have joined Facebook, what a scary place and thoroughly user unfriendly.

Brag - I think that the only question out of that lot that has been answered is the one about loanees. The FA apparently advised us that loans from abroad don't count towards the limit in FA rules. The biggest fear now is that they will see that as a loophole that needs to be shut. :(

As for Baz - he's certainly had the Horse's Arse Award, but nobody knows about the other end. The last I heard, he had gone missing - probably along with the renowned safe key - but I don't think that anyone has set up a 'Bazwatch' yet - they're all just glad that he has gone.
 
evening all...with Master Hornette home now from his hols, we're catching up on the Olympics..and watching the opening ceremony again..it's blinkin' good ya know! lol Really enjoying it the second time around!
 
Evening all from a hot and humid Florida. House we are renting has wifi and I have treated myself to a ipad, so I am online!
Cannot wait until tomorrow but timing will be bad - 5 hours behind means we will traipsing round magic kingdom at the final whistle - will need to head to somewhere with free wifi to catch up on the results.

hahaha i put Abdi and Vydra in my fantasy football team. on the other hand i put Dyer of swansea on the bench for my premiership fantasy football team, and he scored 2, i put agger on another one and he got sent off

I know E Stirling are the worst team in the Scottish League, but you would think that they'd take at least 18!

Were they the club that were threatened with expulsion from the SFL a few years ago if they finished bottom at the end of the following season?
