Hope it went well W_Y ... my sister's company, in IT, has an Indian wing who are trying to convince her they can take over more of the UK work..... no comment!

Technically they are very competent Yorkie. Issue with them being offshore is communications and they are very distant from the business they are supporting. Challenge is to get a good balance and use them for the things they can do with limited support and knowledge of the business. I also push to bring them onshore for a couple of months to build relationships and get involved, but it's all down to cost. Of course the driver is cost...

Very close vic ... Wheathampstead ... although did live in Harpenden before moving back in 2007 ... on Luton ... no comment <laugh>
 
Morning all from a dark bandit country. Up early to monitor the installation of new software to support SEPA -but it's delayed due to some server patching overrunning. Will catch up on my sleep on the way to Bornmuff.

Problem seems to be sustaining a high standard over a period of time.....work rate is also an issue..... she has just had their boss over for a few months.... and yes they can do every aspect of the business....but.......
 
Afternoon all from MK hospital- feeling more back in the world now and looking forward to following today's game assuming it happens. Right now looking forward to my lunch. No irony- food here is very good considering the circs.
