Used to love such things once upon a time, but no longer. Two feet firmly on the ground is my motto these days, although you do get a fabulous view from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
I tend to find that my mind runs away from me, I will think of everything that might go wrong and scare myself silly. But once I get on it I enjoy myself. The only one I cant handle is oblivion, the free fall sends my stomach into spins.
Maestro, that's so funny! I love rollercoasters ...they're such fun! We're a rollercoaster family..all of us love them, which is difficult with 5 of us but often 3 can squeeze in one car. We don't go that often, you've really got me in the mood!
Good morning one and all from a bright Weston-super-Mare. It promises to be warm and sunny later, I may take a walk along the seafront later, now all the bank holiday "grockles" have gone! That's a Somerset word, slightly derogatory, describing visiting tourists!
You could get that published as a short story M. Think every parent in the country would relate to that in one way or another. I used to love the fairground rides - but my stomach doesn't cope anymore
Morning all from a sunny West West London - nice short week this week at madness. Thursday afternoon off and WFH on Friday as I have a double dentist appointment.... I keep expecting us to sign a loan keeper this week...
Morning all - bright sunny day up here. Just as well as I'm off to the doctor and am not allowed to drive at the mo', thanks to the weekend, and have to walk there. So who is everyone tipping for the third relegation spot from the Premiership? Wigan appear to have found a bit of form and if they beat Swansea tonight, Norwich & Newcastle will both be running scared. In all the excitement, I'd totally forgotten that the FA Cup final is on this weekend - does that show how devalued the competition is becoming? In past years, we'd be hearing about nothing else at this point.

Newcastle would be my favourite to go down - I have never liked them....fully agree the FA holds little interest these days to anyone but the 2 teams involved. I will not be tuning in - at 17.15 on a Saturday, I will have better things to do! Hope the walk and the outcome at the quacks is all good BB.. Thanks for the frothy AK and hope the phone rings for you...
Hope KJ gets a job soon - very good manager and taken Millwall a long way with very little resources.
