Was just about to say that. It's bucket list stuff to get round that course. I'd need to take a tent because would probably take me about 3 days and 200 balls to complete 18 holes. Can you imagine your average no pro playing this course, would be a mental experience

I struggle with the flat, slow greens at my local course so I don't even want to think about how i'd cope on theseWas just about to say that. It's bucket list stuff to get round that course. I'd need to take a tent because would probably take me about 3 days and 200 balls to complete 18 holes.![]()
Absolute beast imo. Nobody is close to him in my time watching golf. Relentless, his mindset is elite. Scheffler and Rahm etc are good players but Tiger won the lot for over a decade, not just the odd title. He dominated.Emotional for me seeing Tiger walk on the 18th. Had his issues, but all time greatest golfer for me. The best. He moves so gingerly now and we know how tough on the whole body golf is. It is pure love for the game that has him here now.
I would love to play it. It is tough and magnificent all at once. My course is county championship and open qualifying standard. Greens are elite. Funnily enough greens for me are easier because if you can read them they run true. The issue is missing the fairway at time, might as well be in amongst the snakes. Can you imagine your average no pro playing this course, would be a mental experience

Kingsbarns is an elite course to play if you ever get the chance - probably my fave courseI would love to play it. It is tough and magnificent all at once. I have played a few open courses. Troon is absolutely brutal. You can stand on a tee on a par 4 and be scratching your head looking for a fairway. Absolutely magnificent though. The fairways, if you find them, are all little hillocks and bumps, means a good drive can be sent anywhere. Then there are the bunkers, if you get in a pot bunker it is ridiculous. I was in must have been 8 foot tall.
American golf courses tend to be more fly the ball at a target and stop it. Suits me. I reckon I would shoot a better score at Augusta than I would at Muirfield for example. Mind you, both scores may not be much to write home about![]()
Would love him to make a late charge. Good player.Getting good this now. Hope Fleetwood can post a low score

Morikawa and Aberg in the water, Homa in a bush. Getting a bit easy nowScheffler looks like he's going to win at a canter, the challengers are falling away
Might be just me but I'd love it if a lad called "Colin" won this. Its my dad's name so ha'way the Colin.![]()
