A novel way of raising funds for cancer. Plus it sounds like they're going to clean up the mess that lanterns etc traditionally leave behind. And no effing balloons, either #wildlifekillers. https://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/news/keeping-abreast-charity-norwich-river-of-light-1-5921574

Yay! After a week (or more) of fierce, gusty winds of 50+ mph, calm and serene conditions returned today Lovely walk through the woods and round the lake in Felbrigg park, saw loads of critters (and heard several more - including calling tawny owls!) Plus best ever views of a pair of roe deer which were no more than 35-40 feet away when I first clocked them Adios Storm Gareth - don't bother coming back
My prediction until after we've played Boro in front of the Sky cameras is that the weather will be quite clement, but with some chilly (perhaps frosty) mornings. I saw a bumble bee today!!!
Got an email from AlongComeNorwich yesterday saying my King of yellow hearts had been despatched and it arrived this morning. It's brilliant

I would have thought with the size of Buckingham Palace that she would be more used to draughts! I'll get my coat!
Due in City bus station at 1520, staying at the Travelodge Hotel right next door for a week. Can't wait!!!
Very good Thai restaurant a few doors down from Travelodge towards St Stephens roundabout. Excellent lunches from a set menu Called 'The House'.
